prex, if some in the US have just received their envelopes, it may not mean that mine are lost. It often takes longer to Canada...trying to remember when you mailed them? It can take 2 weeks for something to get here, sometimes longer. I guess if it's been longer than 2 weeks, sending another envelope might be the best thing. But if not 2 weeks, why don't we give it to the end of the week?

I mailed the 30th. I don’t mind sending another envelope. I am trying to de-stash, after all. If both arrive, more goodies for you to use or share. I’m just concerned since it was an especially chunky envelope. Customs might have had an issue with it.

prex, I didn't get any mail today - but it snowed a lot last night and the local school closed for the day and my work sent me home for the day; likely the post office didn't even try to deliver mail...it's supposed to snow again tonight, so guessing there won't be any school/work again tomorrow. It's beautiful though!

Anyway, it's really nice of you to send me another envelope - I guess you should, just in case...I'm happy to send you extra postage money when I send in my returns. Thank you!

    Here are my creations
    1) Brave Wings - 2 mini clothespins, plastic twine, various pieces of 4x4 paper, gold puncinella (stencil for background). From my stash: distress ink, egg shell, gesso, glossy accents, stickles, writing quill tip (body of dragonfly), ribbon, crystals

    2) Dreamer (You may say I'm a dreamer... but I'm not the only one)- music sheet & paper doily as background, napkin (skirts covered in layers of mod podge to make stiff), gold puncinella (as stencil), plastic twine. From my stash: acrylic paint, gesso, gel pens, distress ink, glossy accents, stickles, crystals, ribbon, moon & star charms.

Lurking...Really want to do this, but somehow I have a bunch of stuff going on at once, so we'll see if I feel I can handle it soon.
No new nothing! Must de-stash bit by bit!

Thank you Prex for sharing your stash and for the kind words. It's so easy to become addicted to these! I can't wait for you to host again.

Now I'm thinking about the returns I will receive. What's the best way to bind chunky pages together? Holes in the top and bottom corners with metal rings? I would like to be prepared and going to start my front and back covers tonight. Then when my returns arrive, I can connect them and start my first book. Woohoo!

prex - it never fails! Just when you give up on the mail, a big fat envelope of de-stash trash arrives! Now you don't need to mail a 2nd envelope - unless you already did?
Thank you for all the goodies - hoping to work on my first chunkies this weekend... thanks again!

Binding chunkies is not required and sometimes not even an option if they are truly chunky. If you receive a super special one you can display it as a single piece of art. Sometimes I do that. But usually one hole in upper left corner with one ring works to keep several together. Then you can see each one and the dangles and chunky stuff will look fun.

prex - the rules say we have to use at least 3 trash items per card - can 1 of the 3 be something on the back (ex: decorative paper) or do all 3 have to appear on the front of the card?

Yes, as long as 3 are somewhere on the chunky (it can even be dangling off from it).
I'm glad your envelope arrived. I had the other one ready to go and kept forgetting to grab it on my way out in the morning!

Miss Fame, I've been binding mine together with a binder ring in the upper left hand corner. My main reason is because I didn't want to punch 2 holes. I do love the way they feel bound together like that, though. They are easy to flip and they are so chunky and textured.
