My YouTube page alerted me this video on how to make fairy wings. Sharing this just as an option. Remember wings are not mandatory for your dolls. If you decide to add them, you may use anything from your stash.

I predict she will turn out gorgeous! Thanks for the pic of all the elements you gathered. I have watched the tutorial a few times now. I need to finish up a couple of swaps and then I can start on mine (after a quick trip to Michaels)!

I've been on such a whirlwind lately, that I've made a total of 22 fairies so far! 4 were packages up for the swap and the rest are on my Christmas tree. Soo pretty! Makes me sad to think of taking the tree down tomorrow.

Here is my latest. Let me present Miss Scarlett. I used the same flower, embroidery thread, and feathers as shown in my earlier post. I placed feathers between the layers of her petal skirt, and may also use them for wings as well. Beads were glued to her waist, stickles in the hair (every girl deserves highlights), and micro beads for shoes. Scarlett is attached to a swing made from wine corks (base) and wire strung with glass beads. I adore her!

Thank you CiCi!! I thought a swing would be perfect to hang these ladies.
For the seat, two wine corks were connected by a small piece of wire and a small dab of hot glue.
I used 18 gauge floral wire for the loop. Then a curve to the center and strung the beads (add temporary tape to the opposite end of the wire so the beads don't slide off). Next, I inserted the swing wire through her hands so she's safely attached. Finally 12 more breads were added on each side, after her hands/to the base of the seat. The ends were bent inward and inserted into the cork seat. Walla!

While stringing the beads, I thought it would be cute to include little charms. Maybe I will do that for my next one.

I first attempted to cover the wire with yarn, but it was not working out right for me.

Amazon is where I ordered mine as well. 1) It's convenient, & 2) only place that I could locate a decent quantity of the same size. Now I have a bag that will last a VERY long time
