A quick question: If the whole doll is to be enclosed in a penny sleeve, does that mean the head should fold in over the body, or should the head and body be one piece and no more than 3-1/2 inches high in total, with only the arms and legs (or wings or big ears, etc...) folded in? I'm hoping this is the case, otherwise dolls could be of all kinds of sizes and I'd kind of like it if they were all approximately the same head and body-wise.

Juanita, the idea is that the head and body is 3 1/2" and all other parts would fold in.

Finished my dolls, it was fun and relaxing for me to make them. Thanks NIK for hosting!
My camera phone washes out the lighter colors so you can't see some of the details too well.
Left to right: doll 1-4, doll 1 - the longer leg isn't white, but pink and white horizontal stripes; doll 3 the shorter leg has aqua and white horizontal stripes

    sign me up, please!

Last year I joined a swap on swapbot where we made REAL dolls of cloth in the junkerjane style! It was wilde and long story short, due to miscommunications, I wound up getting to keep two dolls!

this is the doll I made, based on doll designs I'd done earlier, but tweaked more in the junkerjane style. I'll probably do some more of him!

(He had plastic beans in his toes for optimum playability and vintage buttons for authenticity)
