Just got home from the store. (We needed milk and were lucky enough to get some.) So many shelves are completely bare. I just had to walk down one of the empty aisles - I couldn't believe what I was seeing. When we arrived home I checked and our county now has a presumptive case. The retirement community where my Dad and Aunt live are not allowing any visitors or vendors on campus period. Since my Dad is in assisted living he is under strict quarantine even though it's just preventative at this point. It's been a strange day!

I have several cards started and a few old ones I want to add something to them to make them better. Hope to be able to do some crafting tomorrow after I get the housework and sorting done. I finally found my St Pats paper. Yay!

Sorry to have been MIA for the first day of the Athon but I am coming down with something (just a normal bug - haven't travelled anywhere in quite a while ) and spent most of yesterday either sleeping or fussy cutting (requires no brain). Now I have a mass of cards to put together.

Here is the start of my 'all things green' collection

I was going to work on Black Cats or some such for Friday the 13th. Instead my muse decided to play with a couple pretty note card backgrounds. The background of 12 & 13 was a striped card that said Hello in big letters. I used the back to cut the atcs then cut the stripe above and below HELLO to weave into the left side of the atcs. On 10 and 11 I started by sanding the edges and playing with that.

Thanks for the invitation - I forgot about this until I saw some ATART posted in the gallery. Not sure if I'll get anything done, but I'll try to make 1 or 2 cards. If I don't manage to make anything, I will still enjoy seeing the eye candy from others!

My husband pointed yesterday evening that it was Friday the 13th. I just got around to making some Black Cats.

Here are some that are for the themes: all things green and shamrocks.

I had so much fun making the GREEN kimono that I made another #18

Then some 'little' art for Day 2's theme - the Inchies are only loosely attached to the backing ATC. #19

I found a lovely set of Irish themed tags in my resources and couldn't resist making them up.

I saw a photo of an Irish cottage online and painted it for the ATART.

My niece made it home last night after quite the adventure getting out of Paris! Lots of jumping for joy around here And my younger brother doesn't have a temperature, but the nurse advice line said to keep taking it every few hours and to "self-observe" for a couple of weeks since he's got quite the cough and feels rundown. Most likely a cold. He managed to find a thermometer at a combination pharmacy & magic shop. Interesting combo!

So excited to see there is an Athon going on...perfect use of our social distancing. I hope to get some play time in over the next few days. Lovely work being posted in here.

LOL yes but do we need to let the mail sit untouched for nine days in case of surface contamination? Just kidding (I think). We have taken precautions in case it gets crazy, but mostly we not really worried. I do think it is better to avoid unnecessary travel though.

Oh my gosh! I'm late to the party. I'll try to catch up on what is happening with you all, and may even get some arting done.

    Colleen, so-far-so-good, I'm glad.

    Hi Nanner and Loladog.

Donna cute cards, those vintage Irish images really get around. I had some of them in a scrapbook paper pack I bought around 2006, and I have a Holiday theme Dover DVD/Book with them in it. I bet the families of the original artists wish they could get royalties.

I don't know about all of you but everytime I do an a-thon I think of Nancy. I miss her. Maybe we should do some ducks? Also wondering where Mousit and some of the others are. I am sending pm's now.

Linda, I always thank of Nancy too whenever there's an AThon or ATART. Really miss her ducks and her wonderful sense of humour! Think maybe I'll try to make a duck card in her honour.
