Boy are they going to be flooded with donations when everyone has so much time to declutter, lol.
I am storing my donations in a closet because none of the thrift stores are open. That's the one thing I'm sorry about - that I am not working but can't visit all my favourite thrift stores because they are all closed.

Today I am going to do the boredom buster of reading. I have to read a book for a swap on paperbackswap.com.
I am reading The house Girl by Tara Conklin. I am going to make some house cards after I read 50 pages. I have too many books due out for swaps over there.

I might also make a second loaf of blueberry cheesecake banana bread, I have 2 bananas and some blueberries left.

Good day! I've been working in my journals and not sure I'll get any art made to trade, but will definitely hang around and see what you all are creating & doing to stay sane in this wacky world. Here's a cheerful spread.
    cheerful journal spread 800.jpg

My parents are in assisted living and have been in quarantine for a month. (I'm so grateful our governor took this seriously early on!!!) They are 3 hours away, we are usually down for a couple of days every two weeks. So I've been sending them cards and talking with them on the phone as much as possible. It makes me a bit crazy, but is what it is.

I am planning to play as I can, but I am having trouble with the new 20k limit with uploading to the gallery. I've tried compressing my scans as much as I can, but the only ay I can get down to that number is by making the image thimbnail sized or all pixelated. Any suggestions?

Ok call me crazy or over 50. But I post my photos from my camera phone to Flickr.com. Then I download them to my computer and pick MEDIUM and I retitle it before I finish the download. Flickr.com just give downloads number for titles.

THEN I come over here and upload my downloads to my gallery.

Then I copy that link in the gallery to a post like this. I add the word MEDIUM and remove the word small in the link. Sometimes I add the word Large if the details need to be bigger.

That is how I do it.

BUT also I can do an attachement from my computer after doing all that stuff on Flickr.com. I like the uploads better. With the attachments, I can not adjust the size or dont know how.

    What that clear as mud?

    Love those cards CQ!

    The Day After Easter
4 available - two of each "sweet" and "smile"

    Shine
One of my digital art photo tip-ins. The Shine die cut is YELLOW in real life not silver. I can mount this onto a note card if that is preferred.

Ok using the boredom buster of
    10. Clean out a box or drawer in your craft area, Create art from what you found.

I cleaned out a picnic basket and created 3 starter sets for CRRR continuous random round robin, from party invitations.

I made one set of 3 dogs cards from book pages and stickers. and I also made the sugar skulls from band-aids, and the flower sets from book pages and leftover photos from the library ad card for an art show.

I do 30% for my photos in paint (not paint 3D)

When I scan (Brother scanner) it has a custom scan of 100 x 100 dpi / 24bit that use for the forum.

I am doing Boredom Buster #10, using a piece of plastic out of the trash can, and doing Something wet (#7), and Something sticky (#8), while watching the Youtube videos suggested on the first page. I was going for a blurred green background and sky for flowers, but I think that this may turn out to be more of a peacock or lily pond background. Hmmm. You never know what you will get with some of these techniques. By the way, art is a stress reliever, but I am not bored. Most of today was spent arranging to get groceries to high risk shut-ins in another city.

    Start with heavy watercolor paper.
Paint with white paint, and let it dry well.
    Wet the page with water.
Slap gobs of wet and sticky blue and green paints on the paper.
Cover with plastic wrap, being sure to have lots of wrinkles.
And.... wait. To be continued tomorrow.

Lovely pages HHC! I like the bird that is the central focus.

My Dad and Aunt are also in a similar situation and we haven't been able to visit them either. The community web site was giving us detailed information about the number of cases on campus and all of a sudden that went radio silent and we are only getting general statements now which makes me think the worst. I'm sorry we are all dealing with this.
