    I'll lurk for now. I have a old casino deck and the corners (opposite of the numbers) are cut off. Can I use these? I can look for another full deck.
    Is it OK to collage using flowers I have drawn/painted? How about postage stamps? I've never tried doing a full deck before.

    I think that the casino deck with cut corners would be ok. I bought a bunch the other day like that. You can use hand drawn flowers, that sounds really nice! Postage stamps are fine too. Anything goes, as long as flowers are the main focus, and there is that something extra too. I sure hope that you decide to join us!
     
    I buy all my decks at the thrift store. Just be careful you get a full deck. Folks enjoy messing with them, lol.
    I think the older and funkier they are, the more interesting they are. I look for decks with pretty backs of various colors and designs. The thrift store owner knows me well by now. :laugh: Some of them have cut corners or a hole punched in the middle. If they have a really pretty piece of art on the back they're probably BRIDGE cards. You don't want those. It's a fun place to hunt for decks. :) I have a LOT of decks waiting to be used!

    I do have one question. Normally I just put a small address label on the card backs since I've been unable to make myself do up one of the really nice backs that so many people on atcsforall do. Is the address label ok or would you prefer something like a post it note so people who are so inclined may remove it?
     
    I don’t mind an address label on the back of the card. Perhaps others could weigh in on this, as to their preference?

    Yes, this is the first card in the deck. I intend to go all the way through the deck. Kings will be next, and so on.
     
    I have a small shoe sized plastic container of playing cards. I have shaped ones too, lions, stars and baseball cards. I mean round like a baseball cards. Not cards about baseball players. I sort mine by SUIT, so all the hearts are together and the spades etc. Mainly because I need them for the PATs.
     
    Plumhill, my favorite is the Diamonds, because the flowers are so bright and colorful

    karr3ll, My favorite is your 15 cent card, because the placement of lady bug is so cute. I think that might be the hostess card though. all you cards are very similar, so any of them would make my day. Great art.
     
    Over on the Challenge hunt swap we are given Tasks.

    one is create a 4 different flowers, and the other is to use our name somehow in a creation.

    So I got my cards done. Heather is my name, and the heather plant is the theme. I hope you like the something more. I adored this flower pot guy.

    The BLUE Ace is the hostess card, I thought maybe it would give you something unique, to add to your collection. I think I will do that for each round for you Suzi.
