I haven’t been inspired to do any art lately. I have several sets I need to work on and after today’s inauguration I may stop being so depressed. I’m sorry for procrastinating, but I will work on them and get them mailed ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

I go through the same thing, heymaggie! Sometimes it's tough to get motivated...and then other times, I just crank them out!

I wanted to share this milky dissimilar set. The top image was the dis-similar part, when it came to me. One is a wave, another palm trees. Third image not shown, as I kept that card
So Katelnorth started Col. Ashley was the second, I was the third. Mail off tomorrow.
I added the flowers, the words, the postage stamps the red washi, and the inked edged and dots.

So this may be a silly question to be asking now, but where do you all get the plastic sleeves you've been sending me stuff in that are three together? The ones that look like a single row off a three ring binder page?

You can usually find them wherever they sell baseball and other kinds of collector cards. I used to get them at Target, but now I get Ultra Pro 9-Pocket on Amazon.

Oooooh, there isn't a product that comes with 3 pockets, you cut apart the full-page 9 pocket ones? That's easy, I know several places to get the full pages ones. Thank you!

Yes, we cut them apart if we want three across.

When I do six cards for a swap, I will cut two rows from a full page.

I get the 9 pocket baseball card protectors from my local small business Baseball card store. Not every place has such a thing. I get 100 for $20 and they are sturdier than the ones I can buy at Wal-mart or Target. Often this item is in the front near the cards, like pokemon, or baseball cards. They are also in the area near the photo albums in the craft area.
I have so many that I dont buy what they call the penny sleeves anymore. But you can all find a pack of them in the same areas.
I will try to remember to send you some next time I mail you some. I just mailed envelopes today so too late
SOOOOO the reason I came over here. I have envelopes to almost everyone on the list, who is on the active list and is also active. You really should check the links on the first page. I found about 3 members who have not been on AFA in months. xstitcher also reminds us to check the status of CRRR swappers before mailing.

As CastleQueen5 said I try to remind everyone it is best to look at the last activity date before sending things to work on if you don't remember seeing the member post on our thread recently.
I try and remember to check the active list when I send new ones and move anyone from active to homers who has not been on here for 3 months or longer. "try to remember" being the important phrase as I don't always. Sometimes if I don't have a lot of time I just make the changes, so that is why I remind you all to look.
If you notice someone being gone for a bit or know something about someone being gone please feel free to send me a pm. I need all the help I can get.
I need to check the homers only list and remove anyone who has not been around for at least 6 months, too.

Good info Xstitcher. I actually didnt check the players on the active list before I sent out some envelopes. I did send a few envelopes out, for players who havent checked into AFA for awhile. I am hoping I had those envelopes addressed because that person needed a homer sent to them.
After I get my homer envelopes addressed. I then use the PM list to check for likes and dislikes to add more sets that need work aka 3rd players, and fill up the envelope with starters if it isnt full.
After that I was checking to see who I did NOT have an envelope addressed to. That worked out pretty good because the few I missed were not on AFA for over a month.
EXCEPT Chimerix. Poor baby she didnt get an envelope this time. BUt hey she got two from me last round. So it all works out.

Thanks CastleQueen, but there's a local game shop I frequent and I know they've got the three-row pages and I like supporting them when I can. I was just confused because I thought there was a product sold that was one row high. I'll just buy a pack next time I'm out.

I am still here. Will be working on the six sets I have on hand. I began an alphabet set and am hoping people like working on these.
I'll teach anybody anything I know, I just don't want to work.
