ABOUT THE SWAP AND THE ENVELOPE OF TRASH/STASH
This is a no withdrawal Trash/Stash Swap.
This swap is an Asian themed mixed media collage challenge to create tags from trash/stash items.
Each envelope will have a variety mostly Asian themed items.
Some items will be the same type but slightly different.
Once you have signed up and have been sent your envelope of trash/stash, you are committed to finish the swap. Late returns or no returns will receive a neutral iTrader.
Limit 16 players.
Tags can be size 5 (4 3/4 by 2 3/8 or size 8 (6 1/4 by 3 1/8).
Each tag you make can be a different size.
You can make your own tags with cardstock.
If you make your own tag, it must have a hole at the top.
You do not have to put a string or ribbon through the top hole.
This is a 3 for 3 swap – all mixed media and collage, no hand drawn, no zentangles.
Two items you receive in your Trash/Stash envelope must be used as part of your tag, but you must provide your own image focal point. The focal point needs to be an Asian person, place or thing.
The trash/stash items are not appropriate for a focal point and are sent to be inspiration with color or texture for your creation - they are meant to be used for background to a focal point like an image or picture. No abstract Tags. Be sure your Tags are sturdy.
You must use TWO pieces of trash/stash on each Tag. You can use the same piece of trash/stash on every Tag. You can alter, color, cut, paint, turn over, ink, use as a tool, make little bits of any piece of trash/stash included in your envelope. Every envelope will have a variety of Asian themed items of various sizes.
Tags do not need to be in a sleeve, but please protect them some way before putting them in the mail.

Post in the tread to sign up that you have read all the requirements and are aware that this is a no withdrawal swap and that any withdrawal or late cards will receive a neutral iTrader.
Send me your address and I will send you an envelope of miscellaneous trash/stash items.
All envelopes of trash/stash will be sent to you FREE.
POSTING TO THE THREAD
Please post to the thread when you have received your trash/stash items.
Once you have completed your Tags, post the Tags in the thread listing which trash/stash item you have used.
MAILING YOUR TAGS
On the back of your Tag, include your AFA username, real name and the trash/stash items you have used.
Send me a SASE with return postage equal to the amount of postage it cost you to send your Tags to me. Please write your AFA user name and the swap name on the outside of your envelope.
I live in Florida. It is up to you to be aware of the mailing time from your location to me and to mail your Tags in time for me to receive them by the due date. Late Tags will be returned to sender and a neutral iTrader given.
Please post to the thread when you mail your Tags.
AFTER YOUR RETURN TAGS ARE RECEIVED
When you receive your returns, please post in the swap thread that you have received them. Don’t forget to leave an iTrader for me and You Rock!s to the other artists.
