    This is why I love to join themed swaps! The sugar skull swap prompted me to try an original technique. I used spray paint on sand paper for the background. This background has the look and feel of sugar. Then I used alcohol markers to draw in the details. Impossible at this resolution to show the "sugariness" but these made me very happy!

    Hello,
    I am almost done and saw the post about glitter. When I read the instructions I assumed glitter meant, glitter and glue. I used gel pens that are glittery. If this is not allowed please let me know so I can redo my skulls.
