Doris Eaton was a Ziegfield Girl. She and her family were beautiful and she enjoyed her fame. I have a couple of copies of the the book Century Girl because everyone in the book (mostly pictures) are so beautiful. Hope you enjoy these "lockets" with her picture. Loving the art! I hope to have something later...so I can even ask for a trade...
Where I live there are fires to the north and south west...it finally cooled off...but we are not supposed to go out due to smoke. There are bits of ash falling and strange sunlight.
Castlequeen: laugh at our little heatwave but they cut power too.
Hello! I've been working on things for our local art group - a few of us are sending ATCs by the mail since the trading group cannot meet. These are traded, but thought I'd share.

Hello
These are showing the two sides of the teacups I created. Spray inks and watercolor on both sides. One of the friends gifted me a set of tea themed stamps, so I decided to use it. I made 6 cups, one for each of our little mailing group friends. Cup measures 3-3/8 inches tall; 4 inches wide.
Good to have some people here . I thought I was alone. I have made plenty of backgrounds and Ihave been working too but because I'm alone some days, I have time to make art in the evenings.
This witch has been sitting on my desk since at least last Halloween, possibly the one before that. I added the "boo!" text today, so I'm hoping it counts as challenge 1.
This is a new technique I've been experimenting with-- laying a thin layer of white marker (kind of like a fat gel pen) onto patterned paper, and then coloring with markers on top of that.
It's kinda quiet here. I have not done anything new that's completed today, but will share an intuitive watercolor I did a few days ago. Not for trade.
This is my ATC for Challenge #3...use at least 3 crafty items you got in a trade.
I have been blessed with wonderful friends who send "happy mail" from time to time. I also send things to others along the way. It just makes life FUN!
I received an entire 6"x6" Carta Bella paper pad from one friend. I cut my ATC background from that.
Another friend knows I do small things like ATC's, inchies, etc. She sent me an assortment of inch sized cut aparts, word stickers, and paper scraps. All of the embellishments came from her happy mail! Unfortunately I can't credit the manufacturers because they are unknown.
