Found Poetry with a Twist Swap: Due November 15, 2020. Mixed media

There are 2 types of Found Poetry:

1. Collage poetry- poetry comprised of words or short phrases cut from various sources and recombined into something new.
2. Blackout poetry—poetry found within a page of text by highlighting certain words or short phrases, while blacking out or covering the rest.

Use a background (not just a plain white or black art card). You can paint the background, collage it, anything you want that inspires you.

THE TWIST
: Add an ephemera to your work that enhance the poetry. That can be items like ribbon, string, tickets, a button, photo, washi tape, die cut, trinket, fiber, etc. Just one thing that enhances your piece.

Use your artistic skills and feel free to use your imagination and unique style. All cards must be original (i.e., no prints or copies).
Most of all---Have fun!!!

Requirements:
*All cards should be standard 3.5” X 2.5” and at least one layer of card stock.
*Cards should be flat enough to fit in plastic sleeves.
*Send cards in plastic sleeves.
*Withdraw early if you can’t do the swap, late cards may be returned if they can’t be swapped out.
Mailing and postage:
*PM me for my address when you are ready to send cards.
* Make sure your user name, location and swap name appear on the back of your ATC’s.
*Include your username on your SASE.

* International participants: I will pay postage for first 10 players.

Please include a SASE

*US participants: Include a stamped self-addressed envelope or stamps and an address label

Returns: When you receive your returns, please leave itrader for me and rep points for players.
An extra card for the host is always appreciated but not required.

I just discovered blackout poetry recently and was thinking about hosting a swap for it. I'm glad you're including it here. If I can manage to get something made I'll join in, if it's not full up. Until then I'll be a lurker.

Hope you get inspired and jump in.

I want to play. Please add me.

I am out of swaps to do. I need lots of distraction at this time.

Oh yes---so good you are joining. I see you are in Oregon. Hope you are safe. I have been sheltered in place since Thursday---am in the Bay Area. At least we can have fun here and let out our creativity.
