I AM SO UPSET!!! NEVER HAS MY DOG CHEWED ANYTHING ART-RELATED (SHE PREFERS SOCKS)!!! Sometime before bed last night without my knowledge she chewed the page I just finished for Nicki's Disney classics moley!!! I am so angry and upset mainly for Nicki! It is literally only my page! I will cut it out and create a new spread and glue the tip in with the rest of the pages before I send it our next week. Can anyone give me the best paper to use that will have the same feel and weight?

Oh dear - that's what some pets do Alyson... I always put my art away in a drawer or some place safe because we have three very curious Ragdoll cats, so I know all about it.
Maybe you should leave it as it is and if you like I can send you a strip of three original moley pages and you can do a new spread on that and send it to me separately so I can add it to my moley later on (over the chewed on pages )...
I have a moley that has been cut to three pagers because I am doing tip inns for the last three moleys that I needed to work on anyway.
    Would that help??

Oh my! I can feel your frustration! Original moley paper would definitely be best… poor Alyson and poor confused puppers…. What has gotten into that puppy?

Whose puppy chewed on the Nightmare before a Christmas moley? Those chew marks really ADDED to it and made it more cool!

My puppy, my Nightmare Before Christmas moley.
I have kept everyone else's moleys behind a closed door & in a box because I was afraid she'd try it again. (Side note, she has almost stopped doing things like that now, so yay! Lol)...

Puppies are just lucky they are so dang cute sometimes. I feel your frustration Alyson.

So I took the paper to an art store and found the weight I think might work but ordering an entire new moley for tip ins is a great idea!! I think I will see how long it might take from Amazon and do that. I had the book up where I thought she wouldn't get it!! I don't know what has gotten into her!! I am just glad it was only my spread she destroyed.
I may be a few days late getting it to the next person. I will keep you posted.

This swap has certainly been an adventure! It will just be that much more memorable when we look back at these moleys years from now. Thanks to all of you for being so flexible and thinking outside the box when needed to keep things moving along. You guys really are the best group ever!

And you’be been a wonderful host, Amy! This has been such a fun experience, I would have been very stressed trying to find solutions that you handled so well.

We have had some hick-ups, to say the least!! Each artist seems to be very understanding as we face each challenge.

Although I am def. not a fan of tip inns.... it is a marvellous solution now that the mail has decided to take ages to deliver moleys to the US... Just a regular card with the tip inn inside took only a few days to get from NL to the UK... such a relieve that this worked smoothly ... Shirley, glad that you like it - it was one of the more challenging themes for me

So Nicky's moley is repaired, my spread is finished and it will be on it's way in the next couple of days. (repair and spread images in this post) Because I wanted to finish before the deadline I had my daughter show me how to use alcohol markers. I have never had good luck with them but she always seems to use them well. Now that I know a few of the tricks I may use them more often.
