    I made this card for the current art a thon using the scraps from the more neutral metallic scraps. It is up for trade.

    My Backgrounds are ready to mail

    Once again I used a swap as an excuse to buy new art materials!
    I bought assorted colors of MULBERRY PAPER and tore and collaged them in various ways.
    The first three are collaged over acrylic paint on canvas (repurposed old paintings....)
    For the last one I added a layer of loosely woven cotton before the mulberry paper. Texture. Texture! TEXTURE!
    I had fun.

    Please sign me up. I have been experimenting with Gelli made papers and would like to try to make interesting ATC card backgrounds with my plate and Acrylic paint.

    I wasn't paying attention to the calendar. 3 weeks from yesterday until the swap due date. I hope everyone is having fun with experimenting!
