Wow Catharinejo those cards are lovely! I’ve always loved ‘dictionary definition’ cards. Your ‘peace’ card gives the effect of stained glass, and I can feel the movement in ‘breathe’. They’re all uplifting, well done! Beautiful beautiful cards.

Locatray your cards have arrived to my hand. They’re so layered and detailed. I love how the underlying text is not one contiguous sheet, but rather a scrambled even direction changing backdrop. It makes me look longer and deeper trying to figure it out.
Thank you for the hostess card, inchies and all the neat gifts! What a fun treat!

Live plants in the house are A comfort. Comfrey is colloquially known as “comfort” and is used in many home remedies. It points toward comfort, healing, self care and empowerment. Grow your own plant, create your own cure. There is comfort in that.

Last year one of my words was ‘avail’. As in avail yourself of opportunities available to you that you just haven’t learned to do. I availed myself of Roku TV, grocery pick-up, automatic deposits into my grandkids accounts, learned how to upload to YouTube, online healthcare records etc. And this year covid came, and a LOT of my new skills were no longer luxuries, but needed. So glad we have this annual WOTY plan.

EatSleepWriteABook your cards arrived yesterday! Beautiful cards! I especially like how they depict connections both near and far away. Maintaining relationships. Love your tiny champagne bubbles too. What did you make them from?

Cards Finished, Picture Uploaded (I think!)
Hi Everyone! Mine are finished and I thought I'd post a picture and the symbolism that goes with the card.
The word is "Strength." We were all strong during this past year and found a lot of strength to get through it! The silvery background represents steel, a strong metal (It's hard to see as it's on a white table.) I created a word cloud with the word Strength and a lot of other words that make up strength of character. I have pictures of my church's temple, Wonder Woman, and the ocean with a lighthouse during a storm. I find spiritual, mental, and emotional strength when I go to the temple. Wonder Woman is my hero. She shows not only physical strength, but maturity, goodness, and kindness. And when I see the lighthouse in the storm, I see the strength of the lighthouse being able to withstand the storm around it, just as we must withstand all types of storms going on around us.
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!Strength.jpg

I love your symbolism. It sounds like this card is very meaningful to you.
I’m glad you explained everything too, because that helps us all draw from it too. Thank you.

Great set Heather! I like your wonky letters too And the yellow butterfly/ flower card is my next favorite. You have a newly bloomed sunflower in February?!?! Wow! That’s a real treat! Is it as tall as you? Sunflowers often startle me with their height! They’re quite amazing…

Our summers in Phoenix are so hot that the
We get roses and flowers from DEC to May. Then it starts getting too hot. July scorches the earth here. So I had to plant the sunflowers in SEPT when it was cooling off some. It took 5 months to get the first bloom. I did plant some cosmos and those bloomed last week or the week before. I am so tempted to start some new sunflowers but in 5 months it will be July and hmmmm scorched. again.

Cosmos comes in such pretty colors, and I’ve always loved the look of those feathery leaves, so delicate looking.
