So I've got an idea for my first card, but it is veering into the absurd humor category. Are you okay with that?

Hope everyone's enjoying the challenge. I tried to give each envelope approximately the same number of items, at least one non-paper item, and one larger sized image. It was a challenge to create the envelopes!

Here are my first two cards.

    The Revenge of Red.
    1_20210131_172257_copy_856x1226.jpg

While Margaret realized the last leg of the journey was nonsensical, given all these dragons and pesky white walkers a window seat in the giant nautilus was the only urbane way to travel to Castle Black.
    1_20210131_172142_copy_856x1192.jpg

For the Margaret in the Nautilus card, the first part of the title is nonsensical for 2 reasons. 1) Castle Black is landlocked, so I have no idea how the nautilus would get there. 2) By all accounts, the last season of Game of Thrones was really bad and frequently didn't make any sense. We ended up just skipping this last season, the show had gotten pretty bad even before that. So this is an oblique reference to the bad ending of the show.

CQ are those contents random enough?! Enjoy your challenge.

Pancake machine, love your first two cards! I watched only the first two seasons of GOT. I couldn't even get through the first book, and I was gifted a couple of soft cover GOT novels....so they are in my "books to use" pile (don't tell my mother) . Glad that they sparked your imagination! Have you seen The Vast of Night on Amazon Prime? You may like it.

Love your Revenge of Red, pancake machine!

And I kind of wish I had skipped the last season of Game of Thrones

Yes, not to derail the swap too much, we've been very happy to give up on Game of Thrones. Same good decision with Lost I think, never really finished that one either.

We'll take a look at The Vast of Night at some point. Right now still early into watching The Expanse on Prime. That's been really good.

    Thanks for the info RaineyDay--enjoy!
Looking forward to seeing your cards, anjen. Post pics if you can.

I tried The Expanse, but had to stop, and I love sci-fi. Can't remember why I stopped watching. I think it's because I like the book better. Maybe I should try it again.

Great cards pancake machine - I adore Revenge of the Red and love the title for the GOT card. I didn't watch the last season of GOT either - weird - after following for years, waiting to see who would end up on the throne, I have no idea what happened and it didn't really bother me that much. I read something about it afterwards and it sounded like it was disappointing...

And to go a little further off the tracks, has everyone seen the dragon wings for iguanas?

Also, pancake machine, The Vast of Night is a movie not a series, so no big investment.

I created my cards for this swap yesterday. I can't remember when I've had so much fun! I was really in the zone and using all my creativity. It was challeging, but not too hard. Just right. I'll share my cards soon.
