Cool cards
Glad you found the Charlie Brown stamp.
LOVE your addition of Woodstock.
Thanks so much for including a hostie card.
Yes, this arctic cold is annoying!
Mail when you can.
I will let you know when they arrive.

OMG!!!!!!
FAB mailboxes!
Sooooo AWESOME!!!!
I didn't realize there were Manatee Mailbox Companies that not only sold manatee mailboxes, but also clothing and dress up for the manatees for all weather, season, and holidays.
In my search I found a mermaid mailbox.
I think the manatee mailboxes are better......
I often make cards in "sets" of similar design, but for this swap I'd like to make them with the same background mailbox design, different colors, different envelopes, and different envelope contents.

Is that OK?
Yes, that is OK.....
Your cards may be similar, with the same background mailbox, but different colors, envelopes, etc.
When I sort out, your cards are sent to different people, so there is not a problem.
LOVE your sample!
That tiny, tiny, ATC is fabulous.
Cannot wait to see the others you create.
Although swap deadline is two full months away, I suggest you mail your ATCs as soon as you can.
Major snowstorms have shut down people, post offices, and postal distribution facilities, so mail is going to slow down.
This is unfortunate, because mail was just starting to catch up, but if everyone plans ahead and mails early, things should be fine.
Also be cautious about using 2 day delivery (which the post office has already announced cannot be guaranteed) and Priority Mail Services.
Priority mail has been weird!
I recently received a Priority Mail, Tracked Letter, sent Dec 01 that didn't arrive until Dec 12. That is almost 2 weeks transit for a paid, priority, two day delivery.
Unfortunately, every piece of priority mail that I have sent or received post-Covid, has taken LONGER to reach me or the recipient than regular mail, and of course, costs extra (for slower delivery) img045.jpg
Oh, dear!
As I went back to the very first post to check all the mailing details, I noticed one of the sample cards. I did not realize that mine sure does look like a copy of a fabulous card by indigomermaid:
Another FAB mailbox
Holding a Vintage Valentine for me
In an envelope that opens, S.W.A.K
Card created by indigomermaid
I really didn't MEAN for it to look the same. This is the style of mailbox in my neighborhood. I wanted it to have an envelope in it. Can we just say "great minds think alike!?!!?"
I MUST have seen the card when I signed up. I think I will go back and add an "inspired by...." on the backs of my cards., HONEST: I don't really remember seeing the card so I wasn't consciously copying but that design must have stuck itself in the back of my forgetful brain.
So I am writing a KUDOS to indigomermaid for doing the card FIRST and BETTER.
(and in my defense, I will say that I DID make mine "LuAnnP-style" by adding rhyming titles on the back....)
Great minds think alike!!!!!!!
Don't be concerned!!!!!!
Do NOT feel silly!
I LOVE your card, and I also LOVE the card indigomermaid created, which is why I traded for it, and why I posted it for inspiration.
And I was successful, you were inspired by it.
Monday has arrived, and mail is running LATE.
I have walked down our Loooong driveway THREE times, and mail had not yet arrived, and I am expecting an important letter.
Very shortly after I walked back into the house, hubby showed up with the mail, which much have arrived just AFTER I checked for it.
Oh well, it is a lovely day -- 47 degrees after a week's worth of below zero temps, and getting outside is sunny, warm, and healthy.
Although going after the mail, repeatedly, to pick up the mail, when the mail has not yet been delivered, is a pain.
I understand there is a "Mail Alert", or a "Mail Alarm", that tells one when the mail has been delivered.
They don't seem to be over-ly priced, but it depends.
The "cheapest" one I found needs wires, a "ring" bridge, a phone ap, an Alexia connection, an inside electrical connection, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. which has quadrupled the "cheap" price.....

BlancoLobo,
Although you mailed your ATCs prior to LuAnn and Jen, they have not yet arrived.
Mail coming out of OHIO seems to be taking a much longer transit time than mail coming from anywhere else, other than Texas.
Please be patient.
I will let you know as soon as your cards arrive.
