    Thank you for the story about the corpse flower.
    Whether it is the name, or something else, the Corpse Flower always gets visitors when anyone grows it!

    Mail has been taking about a week to reach me, but now that we are past the (no mail delivery for 3-4 days) 4th of July holiday, I am hoping mail will speed up.

    I did have fun with them. I put a little info about them on the back. Plants are so interesting and their uses in natural healing have been documented for centuries — though admittedly some of the uses were way out there!

    One was mailed the 16th,and one was mailed the 20th, but both arrived today.

    Another variation of the balloon flower: this doesn't show up very good, but the cards fit into a pocket, and the tiny balloon is on semi-transparent paper that fits over the balloon flower image. I've seen similar cards but I wish I could have made the concept work for all four cards for this theme!

    No, I think we’re ok. The flooding is all about the sand and clay terrain and the water coming down in a steady torrent which is so unusual for us - but needed and appreciated (unless you’re in a flood zone)!

    LOVE the Venus Fly Trap. I have tried growing them, without luck.
    Do you grow them?
    I am told my soil is too rich, so I am trying to fix that problem.

    I will probably keep the passion flower, but I am undecided.
