Maybe the players that have those cards could let you know they have them. And give you some kind of idea when they will work on them and pass them on or get them back to you, depending on which player they are.
And just a reminder, if you receive cards to work on that don't inspire you it is ok to send them on to someone else. You can do it when you are sending homers, starters or 3rd players cards. You might put a note on them to avoid confusion. (Or maybe I am the only one who might be confused, which is very easy to do!)
While there is no time limit, if it gets to be months without being worked on you might want to send them on. Or maybe let the 1st player know you have them.

Linda, I worked on R and mailed it to the 3rd player on 7/12. I did an alphabet set last August, and I have not gotten all of them back yet. I am only missing E J L and O. I am confident that I will see them some day!

I've done a lot of APC cards and some have been out there for quite a while. I'm trying to learn to relax that part of me that wants to see everything completed! LOL. Hope yours start wandering home!

I had a lot of crrr sets to work on before I went back on active. Some may have been yours. I didn’t keep a record of what sets or who got them, but it hasn’t been very long since I mailed the last ones out. Hopefully some will come home to you soon. Since I’ve been doing round robins for many years, many sets have been MIA. I did get a fat envy not too long ago of cards sent out to players not in this group that were from the early 2000s. Some had not been touched at all. I’ve come to realize that part of the thrill of round robins is not knowing if they will ever come back and the Christmas-like surprise if they eventually do.
I am moving. Please dont send more mail after AUGUST 2nd. I know it will get forwarded, if someone forgets, but please try not to mail me any homers right now either. I will have a new address soon, once the house closes. Maybe by AUGUST 18th we will confirm that we are getting the new house.
We are praying for a very high price for our home, less stress, and an easy move. We are moving 3 hours away and have 4 dogs, and 3 cats. HEY an entire craft room.

I've been trying to keep a record of what I send to whom, as far as starters go, but I'm beginning to see I'll have to loosen up on that, too. I will keep a list of people I send APCs to just to keep track of what I've gotten back since those are a series I want to complete...eventually, but other things may go out on a wing and a prayer. It is a great exercise in learning that we can't control everything. A lesson I keep on a learnin'! Wow! Twenty year old cards, Maggie?!? That is quite a Christmasy gift!

Reading about cards players have sent out and never gotten back reminded me of some I sent out a long time ago and never saw again.
It was an experiment in a little different kind of card and the other 4 players involved agreed to play along. I started 2 sets of cards this way. I cut fabric bigger than ATC size, added a crossed stitched item and sent them unfinished to another player who agreed to try this with me. As usual player 2 was going to stitch something on it and send to player 3 to stitch. Once player 3 had stitched something all 3 cards were to come back to me to finish and back them then send to players 1 and 2.
They are still out there somewhere. I don’t know who any of the 4 players were because I have notes about it in an old laptop that quit working without any notice and I had not backed up things pertaining to the ATC stuff. Lesson learned there. Anyway, I hope someday I get 6 cards back from somewhere to finish and send back out. It will be a very nice surprise. Not as fun as things that are from the early 2000's though.
Do not feel like you need to apologize if you have sent or will send me cards or homers. I am just being on the cautious side. The UK, and Germany Players might find that it takes longer than 2 weeks for mail to get to me.
I havent closed on the new place, yet. so holding off on the new address til I close escrow.
Received several envelopes, will work on over the weekend.
