A lucet is a wooden tool used to made cording. You can it with yarn, trims etc. I got one at Old Slater Mill in Pawtucket, RI at a knitting event..I made a fob with it last night. I want to add beads before posting..
hereís a pic of a quilt for my niece, itís not quilted yet..CD337C1F-FFF8-40CF-A133-6BC820E0FD64.jpgI just finished mitering the borders

So beautiful and colorful!!!! What a lucky girl to receive this as a gift! Quilting is hard…. RESPECT!

Just watched a video of a lucet in use. Neat little gizmo! And actually pretty too. Thanks for introducing me to it.

Add me, please! I'm not sure what I'm going to make yet, but I'm caught up on mail art swaps, and this sounds like fun!
I have a lot of available ATCs! Some of them are quite old, and most of them are quite strange. Let's trade! (gallery updated 8/25/2021)

Oh I like it very much! It’s not too big at all! Your lucet looks very much like the one I saw in the video! What a lovely skill to have.

Mine are done. One lucet, one beaded, and one fabric/tulle with chopped bits.

Iím sharing a couple of fobs in my collection. The wooden one was made by my dearly departed father. The one with the long leash I made with a lucet and bead. Itís handy for those deep bags where keys get lost. Thereís a Royal Caribbean fob from a cruise attached to it.

So, could I make little stuffies? These are in progress; I’ll attach a jump ring and then a keychain ring. Does that pass for a “fob”?CD7BDCAB-9FC9-45D2-A077-B8AEED3F1EC1.jpg
