What to chat? I am not too excited or wasnt too excited about the Saturday theme. I realize they are only suggestions, but I really thought an essay on the subject was in order. (kind of bored at home lately)

I have been thinking what have I done during this whole pandemic. I learned to zoom. Played bingo, did book clubs, exercised, art classes, Humanities lectures, took class from the library on advice from two writers on how to write a book
ALL ON ZOOM.

I baked a lot of bread in my bread maker some worked some didnt. I went on the great toilet paper hunt often. That was a chore.

I did the food bank distribution from my garage or front porch because the church was closed and still is.


I noted my neighbor and her 3 kids started riding their bikes more. So. bike card came to mind.

I have been using some scraps on my desk from other projects, to make some backgrounds. I printed out some extra quotes about Autumn when I was printing words for a swap. I am ready.

I may get around to making some atcs for trade. And will try to drop in for some visits and eye candy. I do plan to work on my own projects.

CastleQueen that swap was awesome. And the only thing I really got good at during this pandemic is shopping online. Before I did very little of that. Bad news for my husband but wonderful news for my art supply stash. LOL

I hope to do a little today. I got my Covid booster yesterday (thanks to Crohn's disease, I'm on immunosuppressants so I qualify) and I still feel a little cruddy from it.

I am up drinking coffee, and planning to head to my craft room.

We have started. My life didn't go (again) as expected but at least we are crafting now. Hilla is a bit sick and have to stay away from school. We drove to our summer house late in the evening. It's easier to stay here than in the city when we need to avoid other people. Half of Hilla's class is sick and no one has Corona virus. Just a basic flu. Earlier all the kids would stay at the school but now they need to stay home.

I am so glad my kids are grown, during this time. The schools around the USA seem to be in such chaos. I have two daughters who work at schools. One here in Phoenix, and one in Australia. I remember when the one in AU, lived here and every fall she would get a big long lasting cold, at the beginning of the school year. I wonder if that has happened in AU. There school seasons are different. I will ask her.
