I did print out some quotes ahead of time, hoping to match them up to cards. I have been doing a sorting of bins in my craft room. I found the background. I punched the leaves from 3 scraps of paper I found, a yellow, a pale orange, and a two sided Pale red. the bird and and 3 gems were also in that box I cleared out. I have small Lid from the box full of the odds and ends and hope to make them into art this week.

This was the first I made, and a favorite. Leaves, and that top border, and background came from the sorted bin, The gold leave is chunky and adhered on with a glue dot, It doesnt lay flat. The bottom rick rack is just one of my favorites and stays on my desk. It is shimmery. TRADED

The background was in the bin. I was able to make 2 backgrounds from the found paper. The leaves are the two sided scrap paper, that I almost tossed in the trash. The rick rack on the bottom is actually brown.

This one, I was removing stamps from incoming mail. The butterfly was still sticky so I put it on the green paper, which was too small for an atc, So the yellow border covered the edge. It was the same scrap paper, I used to punch out leaves. Notice the cameo of my favorite rick rack?

No lie the word adore was in that bin I was sorting. I had lots of tiny things in the bin, scattered at the bottom.

The light brown paper was the result of coffee dying with salt.

I am trying to see what the image is on the stamp. Oh it is an older KING stamp from the king and queen series.

I would like to trade for that one.

Everyone is off to a fabulous start! At least I am starting on time...I have to finish up a swap then on to figuring out what to do with some half done blue coins...I did not complete the swap in time.
I have some fall items and colors gathering near my table...it is smoky but reasonable sunlight peeking through.
Off to see what I can make...

I have started a little. Busier day than I expected. Anyway, worked on my handmade photo album this morning and made one ATC this afternoon, which I’ll try to post soon. Off to church to help pack back-to-school book bags for the kids.

Thanks for the invite, Sanna! It just happened to be midnight here when I logged in and saw it. Not the first location, of course, but I thought it was a fun coincidence. Also I am very much afraid that I won't have time to play, but I do appreciate the invite nevertheless.

I have a stack of ATCs with backgrounds on them that I did awhile ago. For this weekend I “plan” to finish some of those cards. Here is the first one. (Says: motion/momentum/move/make.) Done with marker and gel pen.

Do you ever see a card and wonder WHAT? why? I mean why are there butterflies with shoes? I have no idea, this was a started card that I made, with the butterfly and shoes. I added the fall leaves today, with the word fall, did some gold paint on the shoes and some orange ink on the card. I bought shoes today. I like shoes, but this one has been unfinished for some time. Again that rick rack is brown.

I thought I would have time to post also my other set of cards yesterday but we both fell in sleep so early.
