    Oh, please sign me up. It's about time for the bat tours over in my neck of the woods. One day, my friend and I saw all of the bats come out from under the bridge. They formed a ribbon in the sky. It was so cool. I had a close encounter another time with a bat when I was camping. It was resting flat against one of the buildings.
     
    I have learned that you can buy bat houses for your yard and they will live in them and eat the mosquitoes. I really never paid much attention to bats until this swap, I don’t think I have seen them in the wild. I love all wildlife. I have a creek beside my house, perhaps I need a bat house.

    I'm sure that you have seen bats in the wild - you just didn't know you were seeing bats. Go out by the creek at dusk. Bats will be flying around just over the surface of the water. Their flight is erratic because they are swooping down to catch those mosquitoes. Let us know if you spot any bats. I'm sure they would be most appreciative of a house.
