HALLOWEEN ATART October 21 - 24
This is the Halloween ATART on October 21-24 .
Sniisk is hosting. If you have questions, please put them in the thread. Answering PMs may take longer.
This a-thon will end when it's starting to look like Monday in the last timezone. However, don't take the given timelines too literally.
Because we are creating different sizes and forms of art here, it may be useful to inform others if your art piece differs from an ATC and is an inchie, a chunky or something else so we know the size.
Daily challenges (optional):
1. Trick or treat
2. Traditional things such as pumpkins, bats and spiders
3. Skeletons, bones
4. Something different (any new ideas in Halloween parties?)

General a-thon info (for all ATARTs)
What IS an ATART?
It’s an All Types of ART marathon where you can create art, made over the same time in each time zone. This thread is going to be our crafting room.
HOW IT WORKS
Start creating art when it's time to start, then upload your lovely creations to your Athon gallery and post to the thread. Trading and chatting are going on all the time.
After all the trading is done move your creations OUT of the Athon Gallery and into their correct Galleries - 'Available ATCs' or 'Mail Art'
HOW TO ASK FOR A TRADE
When you find a piece of art you would like to trade, please SEND A PERSONAL MESSAGE (pm) to that person asking for a trade. Please DO NOT post requests for trades to the thread. It can get way too confusing.
Note: If you do make a trade, please be sure to send to your trade partner within two weeks. If you’re running late, communicate!
WANT TO COMPLIMENT AN ARTIST
And you will… remember you can click the You Rock button and leave it there. And we have "Like" and "Thank" buttons too.
HOW TO POST YOUR ART TO THE THREAD
From your atcsforall.com gallery:
It’s easiest to have two windows open.
1) Go to your gallery and open the image you want to insert.
2) Copy the row with [IMG] codes. (copy is ctrl+c and paste is ctrl+v in Windows)
3) Go to your post and paste the copies [IMG] code.
5) and then you're done.
Remember that images from the gallery can be small, medium or large. Find the word (or letters s m l) in the address and change it to 'small' or 's'.
NEW TO A-THONS? If you have any questions at all, feel free to pm me or post your questions to the thread. We have a lot of experienced art-a-thoners who are more than willing to help those of you new to this craziness.

So my husband makes this joke from time to time, that if were a ghost, he would come back as a California surfer dude ghost. "Boo, Totally, boo Dude!"
Ghosts might be a fun theme.
We did this thing at a party once where you had to wrap up a team mate in a roll of toilet paper or two. To make them a mummy, The first team to finish wrapping the mummy was the winner. Mummys are fun. I like the green Frankenstein monster.
Hmm googled it, there is some cartoon series called Boo dude>? I never heard of it.

Monster Mash is just one of the best songs ever! And I’ve got to remember to tell my dad the boo dude joke.
I’m in one of my “use stuff up” phases and I have a lot of orange paper, so I may do some pumpkins. I’ve been pulling other stuff out, too. I really love the idea of mummy art, too. Halloween is a great holiday for art. You can go silly or scary or nostalgic. My older siblings outgrew trick or treating about the time we moved away from my childhood best friend. My mom had this great idea that I could go do the “old” neighborhood with her and then my dad came and picked us up and we did the new neighborhood and it was so much fun. We got some time together and an obscene amount of candy.

Okay I sent out a lot of invites from my friends list. It was sad to see the avatars on so many people hav been removed which I take to mean they are no longer active. I am still working on a lot of my own projects but have also set soe stuff aside for the atart.

I made about 15 backgrounds last weekend and will continue this week. I also printed some small images because I was at work (physically in the university!) and was finally able to do it.

I love to hear more about your Halloween traditions. We don't have Halloween and just few people celebrate it here. Hilla loves it and the more parties the merrier .
