Two last cards for me, both kind of inspired by Favorite Things lyrics....the sleighbells, obviously, and while the girls in the other aren't in white dresses with blue satin sashes, they're close.

I had really good INTENTIONS of joining this.... and I have really enjoyed seeing all the art posted.
Now that I am aware of what an ATART athon is...
I will try to do better next time!
I have to admit: I ..... um..... forgot....
I used to get reminder posts from ATCsFA when I joined a thread, but that hasn't been happening. Time to check my computer settings....
(And cheers for all who participated!!!!)

I had every intention of making ATC's here this weekend but I only was able to plot and plan and enjoy seeing what everyone else created.
I am thankful for the prompts because I will be using them to make things for my personal collection since The Sound of Music is one of my all time favorite movies!!!
Thanks for sharing what you made!

I am so sorry I wasn't able to participate
Life is just a little bit difficult right now.
Please accept my apologies and please invite me to your next one.

I moved my untraded cards to my available gallery. I will mail my trades tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for a fun athon!
My trades are in the mail, and I'm moving the rest of my cards out of the ATHON Gallery to my Available to Trade ATCs.

LORNA called and asked me to mention that her computer died and she is supposed to get a new one this week. She has not been able to log in. She will check in and will get her swaps and trades all settled as soon as she is back online.

I think the next ATART is my Post-Christmas/New Year ATART running Dec 28 to Jan 6. There are lots of prompts for each day - both Christmas themed and other. All are welcome to come for a day or 2 or stay for the entire time.
I have 2 of my children and grandchild coming up from Melbourne for Christmas/New Year - haven't seen my 3.5 year-old grandchild in the flesh for almost 2 years, so very excited. This means that my participation for the first few days will only be sporadic.
I plan to start the thread next weekend so you can start preparing resources and backgrounds - can't wait to see you all there.

I received a stack of envelopes in the mail with trades. The cards are even nicer in person! Leaving iTrader now.
Have I mentioned how much I enjoy athons? I like the fast trades!
I'm looking forward to the Dec 28-Jan 6 post Christmas/New Year ATART athon : )

Donnacr - have you considered a postage-stamp-athon for early next year? I think it would be fun.

I was thinking of Hosting one of those in late Jan/early Feb but I have to see what my new chemo regime will be like. By the end of the last one I was barely functioning.

Fingers crossed the new regime will be less draining! I'd be happy to co-host - we can talk in the new year to see how you're feeling.

somnia - thanks for the offer to co-host. I may need it as I bowed to peer pressure and have booked the postage stamp Athon for Jan 21-24.
(I am currently feeling full of energy and am buoyed by Christmas and all my children visiting
)
What do people think of themes that relate to what you use WITH the postage stamp, rather than what is pictured ON the postage stamp?
eg extend the scene, add a doily, monochrome background, add washi tape/ribbon/twine, add die cuts, use stencils for the background. . .
any suggestions?

Happy to hear that you are feeling better!
I like the idea of themes that relate to what you do with the stamps.
