postage for non-Australians: Dec 16
I live in Australia - mail will NOT reach me quickly! Mail is getting back to normal but, with reduced international flights, I would still suggest you allow at least 5 weeks.
cards: 3:3 or 6:6
participants: unlimited
media: any and all but MUST include at least 1 postage stamp showing CHILDREN (real, cartoon, etc) on it

MAILED FEB 2

I have LOTS of postage stamps and love using them on m cards so I have decide to run a monthly series of swaps using different topics on the stamps.
short of stamps? Just ask - I have lots on most topics and I am very happy to send some to you. If you need some a little quicker just PM AngelJoy - she is in the US and has lots of postage stamps to share as well.

future topics so you can plan ahead:
NONE.
After 24 swaps in this series I will be taking a short rest. I am planning to Host a Postage stamp Athon in Feb/Mar and may be persuaded to start a new series later in 2022 so, if you have any postage stamp topics that you simply have too many stamps for or that you really like the topic (whether it has been done before or not) please make suggestions. Quite a few of the topics in this series were the result of players suggestions.

Please include a background for your stamp(s) - it can be an extension of the stamp design or abstract, or something in between. Plain white backgrounds will be returned unswapped.

Post to the thread to sign up or you can't get Rep points.

PM me for my address when you are ready to mail - if you have an address in Robina, I am still there.

Due date:
Cards are to be in my hand by January 20. I will mail your returns as soon as possible but remember, it took up to a month to reach me so your returns may take a month or more to reach you. Please be on time so others don't have to wait.

Postage:
Australian plyers: please include a $1.10 stamp
International players: unfortunately Australian International postage has gone up to at least $3.40 so I must ask for a well hidden US$2 or a Global Forever stamp.

ALL players please include a LARGE address label (AT LEAST 2" x2"), I will supply envelopes. Please do NOT send those 3-in-a-row sleeves - they do not fit in my envelopes.

1. Do your best work - I plan to swap effort-for-effort as much as I can.

2. Clearly write your USERNAME and the SWAP NAME on the back of all your cards (so you can get fun Rep points) and on the back of your mailing envelope. I am running a few swaps and do not want to put you with the wrong returns.

3. Please mail early to allow time to reach Australia.

4. An extra card for the swap Host is greatly appreciated but is not required.

5. Embellishments are fine. The completed card needs to fit into a standard pocket and the embellishments need to be securely fastened so they don't fall off during shipping. If it is too bulky it is more than likely that the card will not reach me - either because the envelope has been torn and the card lost, or it is too heavy.

6. Have fun!

7. I will give iTrader feedback when I receive your cards and will also update this post showing that your cards have been received. In return I encourage you to give iTrader Host feedback to me when you receive your swap returns, and Rep points to the artists whose cards you receive. After all knowing where your cards went is half the fun I think.

welcome to all the new/ returning players - nice to see you at the end of this series.

plumhill2001 - very quick off the mark. I will tell you when they arrive.

Haagmm - I have just given you iTrader for your Organisation cards so I will have to come back in 2 hours to give you iTrader for these cards

some trivia from this long running series - the most players in any 1 swap was 23 and was the 'People' swap due in May 2020 but we have never had less than 11 players in any 1 swap.

plumhill2001 - love the hand sewing on your cards, it looks amazing!! I'll tell you when they arrive

betsyg - in 2020 6 players completed every swap - AngelJoy, Betsyg, Haagmm, jo.on.the.go, seascape131 and Suzi. There were only 11 swaps that year as in August we were all waiting to see if postage delays were going to recover.
in 2021 7 players completed every swap - AngelJoy, Betsyg, Cleopatra (who was a new player to join during 2020 and hasn't missed a swap since), donnacr (as a player), jo.on.the.go, plumhill2001 and seascape131.

Some players have had to battle health problems, moving house, etc and so have missed 1 or 2 swaps. Thank you to all of you who have been with me for this mammoth series.

welcome Cleopatra

Cynthiasillitoe
- I will tell you when they arrive (can't wait for the sneak peak of them), don't forget to confirm when they are actually in the mail

I have a few more to upload, but am having trouble with the scans, so I'll do that later. But all of them went in the mail today. Thanks, Donna, for such a sustained and thorough swap and I can't wait for the postage stamp a-thon!
