Owls have expanded their lead to 8 parliaments! They've officially won the gold! We loved the owls in this swap!! But there is still that tight race for silver and bronze, but we have some breaking news here! Peacocks are still in 2nd at 4 collections. However, Giraffes have moved into a tie for bronze with the turtles. Why, it's neck and neck right now, which gives the edge to the towers! (plus I'm cheating and I know what Martha is sending)

I kind of enjoyed the tower of giraffes with the giraffe peeking over the top of the skyscraper.

I wasn't thinking about Monday being a holiday in the US when I chose the 17th for a due date. We're waiting on a few sets of cards. I work late on Tuesdays, so my plan is to wait until Wednesday night to sort cards, then send them in the mail on Thursday. Hopefully, these last few sets can get here by Wednesday at the latest.

Good, good news, the last 2 sets that I knew were in the mail arrived! I need to check on one last set, but they'll either be here tomorrow or not, so will sort tomorrow night!

As far as the count goes, a big move by the Giraffes put them in with the Silver! Peacocks are Bronze! And Owls, rule the roost with Gold!

Okay! They are all sorted and ready to go out tomorrow. All of them have Natalie stickers on the back.

Also, my dad gave me a huge number of cards that nonprofits have sent to him over the years to try and get him to join. I don't like wasting cards, so you may be getting happy birthday, or thinking of you, or even one congratulations graduate. Some of them have scripture on the inside. I don't really know anyone's beliefs, so if that speaks to you, I'm glad, if it isn't your thing, then just realize the card is serving it's function as a vehicle from place to place.

And they went out this morning!

I received my wonderful returns and I love them all. I received a mob of meerkats from Somnia; an unkindness of ravens from TSMarie; and a colony of bats from Spottedcrow.
