Finished my cards. I will put them in the mail today. Thank you for all my items. It was challenging, and I got to use items like stamps and playing cards in my collage that I have never done before.

Sorry I wasn't more "chatty" in the thread as I usually am when I host, but the loss of my Mom in early Dec. has really taken the wind out of my sails. Many days I just go through the motions. But I am working at recapturing my joy.

I have a delimma...Loladog was part of this swap, but as most of you probably know, she has passed away.

Any ideas what I should do with her cards? Here is the thought I came up with:

Since CastleQueen5's envelope came to me open and empty, how would you all (including you, CQ5) feel about me using Loladog's cards in place of CQ5s? I know Loladog was passing on all her card collection before her death so I am almost 100% certain her family would not want her cards back.

This feels like a very delicate situation, so I want your honest feedback on my idea, or even offer any other ideas you may have for resolution. I have no idea what the etiquette should be.

I was sad about Loladog. My husband went through similar treatments in 2017-2018. So we pmed each other often to share.

I think using Loladog's cards in place of CastleQueen's is an amazing idea. I'm sure it would make Loladog very happy and CastleQueen also. Prayers for Loladog and for you CastleQueen. Even though most of us don't ever meet face to face, I feel that there is something very comforting about this shared experience of making art, and I feel a kinship with some of you through the swapping experience. I tell people it's like having many pen pals, but you send art instead of letters. RIP Loladog.
