The 5 year old is, but the almost 2 is a bit rambunctious! But there's always a clean-up!

A 5 yo is in a perfect ago to art with! At that age they can start use scissor and other demanding tools than just crayons
. A 2 yo can be a challenge, I know. But I started to make cards etc. with my daughter when she was under 2 years old. She loved to play with very small beads and glued/taped small paper pieces on card boards. She didn't try to eat anything and was that way easy company. You may need lots of stickers.

I am just having to start experimenting with a 2.5 year old (regularly visits) and a 3.5 year old (up for Christmas) - it IS fun, but messy!
Lovely to see all of you already here - sorry to hear of your non-activities Jo.on.the.go but glad that it gives you lots of time with us.

When I visited my grandkids, when the four at the house were 3 - 8 we could spend the whole day making cards. Then they would trade between each other or send the cards to the cousins who lived elsewhere. We even joined some kid swaps here and they were thrilled to receive the mail. Such fun in the "good old days".

This sounds so good! I have been thinking of you. And also Hilla has asked several times how are you doing.

I signed up for an earlier ATART and then got too busy to follow through. Not. This. Time. I will be here. And, since I have no cat, I can be here WITH bells on (I have enjoyed the conversation so far and I am intrigued by the hovering over the green dots....this is new to me....)

I never knew about phrases for green dots and I've been here over ten years! Wow...learn something every day!

I got off my oxygen tank/condenser, DEC 18th, and I am doing very well. Because I am doing better, I am not back on my oral chemo Zejula. Some mild side effects are effecting my overall stamina some days. Nausea, insomnia one night, and digestive issues. Today is one of those days.
Yesterday we had one cheese and one chocolate fondue. We sure overate. I told her it will fill you up fast. It was great to do.

I so need to do this. My eyes are healing from surgery; I think I am already seeing better. DH is having valve replacement on Jan 3, so I will be popping in and out between doctor and hospital visits but this will give me "escape" times. I'll be here with bells on--my cats like them.

I love all the talk of bells being played as people arrive to play. . .
CastleQueen5 - that is fantastic news! I hope that you continue to improve and get on top of those pesky side effects.
StitchinWitch - I am very happy that we can be a distraction for you, prayers for a successful surgery for your husband and a quick recovery for you both
There is just under 2.5 hours before we can begin - see you then
