Every day (except Friday and the last Thursday) has 3 choices of theme so there are heaps to choose from.

VickiZ - thanks for the prompt on day 1 but I have deliberately saved wrapping paper to use on cards for Day 1 as well.

It is now 12.10am in Queensland so everyone can start. I have a grand-daughter who will be waking me up in 5 hours so I will offer my first 5 cards and then go to bed.
As I have not seen this grandchild or my daughter in the flesh for nearly 2 years I will be visiting here infrequently until they go home on the 31st. I look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations when I do get a chance to look.

    Here are my first cards

Yesterday we had one cheese and one chocolate fondue. We sure overate. I told her it will fill you up fast. It was great to do.
I am so glad you have been able to stop the oxygen - it's such great news that you are feeling better from the infection! I hope today you are feeling better today than you were yesterday from the other side effects. I love fondue!!! Yum!

This is great news that you are healing! I hope all goes smoothly for your husband and he is soon recovering well and quickly.

Our card factory is running. I will show today's creations tomorrow because it's way too dark here. We have daylight just about 6 hours per day.

Speaking of fondue, I was reminded of my fondue pot.
Many years ago we received a copper fondue set as a wedding gift, and I use it regularly for spring, summer, fall get-togethers, and winter holidays.

I recently discovered that to the Swiss, fondue is purely a winter specialty. Only tourists eat fondue in the summer.
Fondue to the Swiss precipitates HUGE fondue parties this time of the year.
Fondue in Switzerland is served with a wonderful Swiss white wine called fendant. Local wine production is so small that very little is exported so this wine is not well known.

I am polishing my fondue copper. And I just put in a call to Haskells to check their wine supply.

Oh! We can start! I got a bunch of stuff out to play with, and hope to get to it soon. I need to take photos for my Etsy shop while the sun is shining.

We have several inches of snow and it's a whopping 5 degrees here. It's pretty, but we're not emerging from the house other than to check the hummingbird feeders and sprinkle sunflower seeds for the songbirds.

Checking in! Thanks for the invite, Donna, I hope to play a bit.

We just arrived at our cottage earlier this evening so tonight was just unpacking, quick dinner, warm up the house and then to bed. It's nice to see so many of you here joining the traditional athon! I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays, maybe meeting friends and relatives for the first time since very long. And healing wishes to those of you who deal with illness. See you tomorrow!
Sorry my inbox was full! I've been absent from the site for quite a while and hope to be back more frequently now.

Welcome to take a look at my Instagram account!

MMMM fondue! I haven't had cheese fondue in ages. We seem to only have fondue when we have guests...

Here are my first cards. They're in the Athon Gallery.

    Day One! DONE!

    Original post at 3:54:

Off to find the wrapping paper I stashed earlier. It's still MONDAY here in Kansas, but late Tuesday in Australia...(I'm going to have to figure this out ....)

I am loving the art that I have seen today. KUDOS to all!!!

    ONE HOUR LATER:

    TRADED

My first ATC for the ATART (talk about alphabet soup....)

Inside the side pocket is a little note that says,

    211228

Hello! This is my first "ATART piece." I included wrapping paper, stamping, pinking shears, machine stitch, zentangle, Posca pen...and a pocket. (smiley face)

Thank you! Credit for the drawings goes to illustrator Anita Jeram. I rescued them from a napkin and put them on ATCs : )

I've had kind of a Murphy's Law day. I did get one card made and will scan and post it tonight. Tomorrow, I hope to get more done.

Love seeing all the great art!
