It's not exactly "extending the scene" but I was inspired by the background of these stamps to pull out my watercolors and just play. Then, in the spirit of choosing a word for the year, I came up with these watercolor insects:

I had so many ideas and so many stamps, but I don't think I'll have time to make any more. Really enjoyed all the great stamp cards!

^^^ THIS! I really enjoyed seeing everyone's art, and the creative ways you're using stamps on cards. I ran out of time to finish my berry stamps (2 more in the series) and to work on the other ideas I had. I could probably do a stamp a thon every weekend and still run out of time : )

Is anyone thinking of hosting an ATART or postage stamp athon in Feb? There's nothing scheduled until April. I'm hooked on athons!

The stamps were already those colors. I just looked at them and pulled out some watercolors that matched and made the cards. It was fun.
