Tuesday I have to drive to Tucson to get a cat scan, which is silly because I already know I have 3 cats.

Oh well.
Wednesday it will get cold here, about 52 and rainy so well will start a fire in the fireplace and drink lots of hot herbal tea. So that might be the day I address envelopes.
Well, tell those cats to scan you!
I lived in Mesa for six years (and I wish I still did. Also, my grandparents had a condo there for about twenty years, so before I lived there, I used to go to Mesa at least once a year) Anyway, my dad and I went down in January 2011 for a weekend. It was 72 degrees outside and when we walked into the motel, they had the fireplace going and Dad and I just cracked up.

This was fun, thanks to all of you! And to Donna for hosting!
My envelops will be in the mail on monday.
And to me it sounds quite funny to read about your cosy temperatures. Lucky you! Here we had -13 °F / -25 °C two nights ago, what is quite normal for this time of year. Today we have 17,6 °F / -8 °C, that's kind of a heatwave

Cardamom moon - I remember when my husband was working in far north China, we would celebrate when the weather rose to 0C. It felt like a heat wave in Winter! It was often -20C or thereabouts which made waiting outside for the public bus interesting. Thank heavens for long johns and fur lined shoes/boots.
Thank you to everyone who played during this ATART. So many wonderful creations shown and traded.
Don't forget to move any untraded creations to the appropriate Available Galleries (OUT of the Athon Gallery).
For anyone who is new to ATARTs - as you have essentially made lots of personal trades, you give an iTrader when you receive your cards.

We have +2C today and people are wondering where the winter disappeared. But we have still about 25 inches of snow...

I know! See you think we are making it up, but once it gets below 70 F we Phoenicians, are cold. A drop from 110 to 70 is a 40 degree drop. Think of going from 80 in Michigan (where I grew up) to 40. BTW in Michigan 60 was shorts weather, and in Phoenix, it was sweater or jacket weather.
Now that I live in Southeast AZ surrounded by mountains, it gets colder. We are going to light that fire today, since it is expected to be cold and rainy.
I have a Doctors appointment at 940 am, close enough to walk. But cold.
I am doing my envelopes right now drinking a cup of coffee. I expect it to take an hour. Oh dang, I have to shower too, and dry my hair. But first a second cup of coffee. Maybe decaf.

The cat scan event, in Tucson, (about 1.5 hours away) went fairly well. I had to go to one office to get my port accessed, and do my monthly labs. I left my book there! They didnt find it. Then I got the cat scan 2 hours later at a different office that just did radiology. The tech was the most informative tech I have ever had. I was impressed. I think I have about 5 cat scans since I got cancer in 2020.
My trip to Tucson was delightful. My aunt lives there, she is 80, and doing pretty well healthwise. I visited with her and went to two Bookman's stores to trade books. One store gave me $44 dollars for books I didnt want anyway
POINT OF THE STORY: With my newfound credit, I bought some ooly pearlescent water colors. I cant wait to use them.
The drive back and forth to Tucson, is so serene. I love the mountains all around, and there isnt bad traffic either. So overall a very pleasant day.

I cards all went in the mail today. It is cold out so I only went to post office, then back to my nice warm house. Now I will get back to sewing until the next time.

Back from visiting my granddaughter. I didn't make a SINGLE ATC while I was out of town. I brought along a mini tablet and some gel pens, but by the end of the day I was much too tired to draw!
So I only traded two of my five cards for this ATART. Off to change to status of those cards in the gallery. I'll do better next time. (But it was STILL a lot of fun!)

Oh I need to walk out to the mailbox before the mail comes. I also really need to go to the PO and buy more stamps.

Hoping to get all my completed trades in the mail today as my 2 sisters are arriving in a couple of hours from Melbourne to stay the long weekend.
We have not seen each other in the flesh for nearly 2 years so I don't expect a lot of sleep to occur till they go home on Monday.
