I won't be able to play until the weekend, but hope to post a couple of cards.

nanvan - I look forward to seeing you then

here are some examples of what I suggested for Day 1's theme: HEARTS
Attachment 229261#1 CHUNKY (the centre hearts are actually fluoro but my scanner can't cope with that. . .)
Attachment 229263#2 an example using hearts for butterfly wings
Attachment 229266#3 this time the hearts are leaves - fold in half and only stick one half to the card so that they fold up

LOTS more to come. . .

My craft room cleanup crew (me) has some work to do before I can start. Can't wait! Probably won't have anything to show until tomorrow night at the earliest.

Good for you for cleaning up somnia. I reorganized all my art stuff as well. I moved 8 months ago and instead of using my kitchen pantry for food, all of my art stuff goes in there in labeled shoe boxes (ephemera, paint, markers and pencils, blanks, postage stamps, art paper, traded cards, art construction supplies (scissors, punches, rulers), stamps and stamping ink). Sometimes I just open the pantry door and admire how tidy it is and I know I will be able to find what I need! Now I just need to get arting.

I'm just looking forward to having an art space that isn't the dining table again! And getting to all the boxes of my craft supplies and paints that have been packed away for the almost 2 years we've been in this rental. It's going to be like Christmas morning when I finally get to them. The woman we're buying the house from is a crafter, too, and she had built-ins for organization put in the closet of the bedroom she designated as her craft room - which will become my own craft room.

Suzi, those are cute. And a fun way to get us started off. I've been doing some doodling (in my head) today, so tonight when I sit down, let's see how much of my doodles make it onto the paper. . .

    Oh, those are wonderful!

I didn't get anything made, but did find some good stuff in my stash, so I can start tomorrow.

I was out at appointments most of the day but have now been back creating.
Here is another CHUNKY lite, using washi tape hearts:
    Attachment 229281#4

And I had to have a go at making ladybirds - the wings are all hearts that have been cut in half and spread Attachment 229282#5

I then put together some cards that I had been pre-cutting the pieces:
Attachment 229283#6 (holographic silver background, not the blue that it has scanned )
    Attachment 229284#7 Attachment 229285#8 Attachment 229286#9 Attachment 229287#10

And my final cards for today:
    Attachment 229290#11 Attachment 229291#12 Attachment 229292#13 Attachment 229293#14 Attachment 229294#15

Now I am off to bed as it is after 1am. I will start asking for trades tomorrow - I look forward to seeing what you all make while I am asleep. Good night and happy creating!
