I love coyotes, Jo! I just painted one myself last night for this swap. We used to hear them a lot at our house on the Olympic peninsula - sometimes at night they'd be roaming right behind our house and letting out that howl. Very creepy to hear outside your bedroom in the middle of the night! I'm sure they're in the forests around our new house here on the Kitsap peninsula, too, but they haven't made themselves known to us... yet.
Here are my first 3. I'm still painting. So many amazing wild canids!
