Those are amazing! I'm always blown away by the ways people can create digital art, though how nice to also get the by hand part in, too.
I'm already discovering issues with my glasses. I often have the tv on while I'm online and if I'm wearing my computer glasses, I can't see the t.v. If I'm wearing my t.v. glasses, I can't see the computer. (Wouldn't it would be nice to just be able to see?!) Anyway, chalk that one up to getting older isn't easy, but it beats the alternative.

I love my varifocals. I have them for quite a few years now and it took me only a few days to adjust to them.

I have progressive lenses - which work for such things. Although I also have computer glasses.

Since I was really only having problems with computer, this seemed the way to go and I'm sure I'll adjust. I am thinking about getting chains for them. It's like one more thing for me to need to not lose...

I used to lose or break sunglasses until about the age of 45 when I too needed glasses. I had trouble reading the subway menu board. Shows you where my reading priority was vs others here. So I got reading glasses. and some progressive bifocals, AND some sunglasses that were for distance. Since then I made my sunglasses progressive bifocals. and my other glasses again the same progressive bifocals. I notice I dont use the top part very much.
BUt I also have not lost or broken either pair of those sunglasses. The prescription in 10 years has not really changed. I still have the reading glasses in pristine shape, since I seldom used them. I did get my eyes checked in Jan and the glasses at the OPT doc was high. I thought I would get a pair of sunglasses elsewhere. Nationwide or something. I just havent done it. I need my glasses to drive. Sunglasses in the day, other at night.
I just think I am due for a new pair, they get scratched up over over time, even with the cases.

Yes, they do. And sunglasses, of course, are a necessity in Arizona.
Great collages, AngelJoy!
I've got a few cards in process and will finish and post those later. I didn't even make it to the studio until 3, just finishing up stuff that was on my "do before the athon" list. Next time, I need to start on those tasks sooner.

Just wanted to say hello
A word about progressive glasses. In the beginning I had a terrible time getting used to them. When I first got them, I was known as a beginner bifocal person. Not quite there yet but still needing them. I am a nearsighted or was a nearsighted person. Now, don’t laugh too much at this, I got my first pair back when they were not so perfected yet at LensCrafters. I had trouble with them and I had to go back16 times, lol, one time I went back , the girl got my file and looked at me and said, “ I have never seen a file this thick”. But they honored their promise that if you weren’t satisfied to come back. I went through a lot of glasses. I went back to my old eye doctor who gave me my contacts which after 20 years my eyes rejected, hence the glasses, even the soft ones. He offered to let me wear the office eye equipment home and laughed. To make a long story short , I did finally adjust to them, love them and they are really good and improved in 2022. It is funny now. I was driving with my mom in the car and in the beginning was very much accused of bobbing my head a lot. My husband finally said he could not take it if I had to go back and get another pair of progressives. Well, I vowed that I would adjust and the more that you need them to read the easier the progressives get. Tips in the beginning, learn to turn your head mor and look through the center, relax with them, learn to move the paper or book you are reading. I learned from observing Pres. Bush the father, one can always tilt them up or down. MY HUSBAND adjusted to them very easily, some do not. The more you need them for reading the easier they became to wear. At any rate I learned to wear them and adjusted and it all seems funny now. I love them now. Hugs , ladies and I don’t know if there are any gents.

Here's a wonky flower vase. I'm working on assorted things I walked away from but didn't toss in the bin, and seeing if I can make them presentable. This was a quick don't-lift-the-pen scribble drawing from an art class a few years ago... that I just left as the drawing. Added the leaves, watercolor and zentangles. And there you go. Whatever it is, I'm calling it done.

Wow, more great art!
My day went kind of sideways, which is why I've been awol. Nothing bad happened, it just got chaotic. I did finish a couple of cards, which I'll post tomorrow.
I'm working on adjusting to the glasses. I think I need to get them fitted a little better, so I may be heading back. She did the measurements in advance and then she just pronounced them perfect and I said they felt good and I still expected her to spend some time fussing over them because they always do, but she didn't, so.... (If I remembered her name, I might try to find out her work schedule so I could get someone else. It was like being waited on by a Real Housewife of something. The eye doctor was fabulous, but the optician annoyed me.)
Anyway, see you all tomorrow. (Get it?)

I completed 6 cards today.
I wanted to use the words " I can see my house from here", but easier to use the Alphabet stickers.

Some sent me some umbrella and Rat die cuts, so I went rat umbrella crazy today.
Here is another.
Spring rain. The words came from a damaged copy of Charlotte's Web, near the end where she talks about her babies being born in Spring.

Another Umbrella die cut sent to me by the same person. I didnt feel like this card even needed words. BTW red rain drop gems, just looked too much like blood, so pink it is. Called Singing in the rain.

I am in two swaps TEXT ME and Found Poetry. I was playing around with my heart punch to create this flower. The words came from the Charlotte's Web book. I am not sure what kind of rodent this is. It seems to be friends with the flower. I might use this card for a swap. Not sure yet.
