    Annie M-like Art Dolls~Due June 2

    Due date: June 2, 2022
    Sign up: open
    Number of players: open
Number of dolls: 3 for 3
HD/HP or Mixed-Media welcome. will swap...like for like.

This swap is for paper-dolls very similar to the style of Annie Montgomerie.(OK, sometimes I say Art dolls, but I do mean paper-dolls here). They would have an animal head and a human body.
Size can be up to 10-12" and minimum size would be 7-8" tall please, no smaller.
Limit on making would be so that they can fit, folded, into a business size envelope. Include Two articulated points, you can do more if you like. Your doll is artist’s choice, but must be in anthro-morphic style. Depict any kind of Animal character but in human style clothes. Please goggle Annie Montgomerie art to see what I mean.

    RULES:
    - Please place each paper-doll in its own sleeve or some kind of protective tissue paper. Don’t forget your real name and username on the back.
    - Provide me with an address label plus TWO Forever stamps and I will provide the envelopes.
    - If you think your brads are too “chunky”, please add additional postage, and write “unmachinable” on the envelope.
    - A host gift would be cherished, but is NOT at all required or necessary.
    - Remember to leave iTrader for your host and rep points for those who made your fabulous returns.
    - International players, please send address label with $2 or a 2 Global Forever stamps.

Exactly, that is why I decided to have this swap, so we can make our own.

I love her dolls and have admired them forever but. I also love the concept.

We can do this. Give it a whirl.

This is right up Zhou's alley for sure (her avatar!)

I'll be a lurkey turkey for now, and see what I can create in this style first.

QUestions... you call them art dolls and not paper dolls, so are you thinking cloth or paper?

You say brads so I think paper or light cardboard?

Yay, another paperdoll Swap! If you fold to fit a business size envelope, they would be taller than 9” (maybe 12”?). Is there a minimum and maximum size measurement? I am making an animal list right now, so I can decide what to make. How fun, please sign me up!

Yes NancyL. sometimes I say art dolls but yes, I meant paper-dolls-Thank you for letting me
    know.

Zhou--You can make them as large as 10"-12" tall or as long as they can fit into a business size envy. Do what feels best
I have no objection at all.

CiCi I really think larger ones for this swap works. So no smaller than 7-8" tall please.

Holly, I did google Annie, and her dolls are so fun and unique! We often see animals dressed in human clothing, but maybe it should be stressed that everything below the animal head is human, no little paws peaking from beneath a sleeve, it’s a human hand. I do think you have stated this in your description, just thought it might bear repeating. Can’t wait to begin, but I have other things waiting “in line” first.
