Oh well, no worries - If I do not see the message, I always check on the 9th of the month. Just finished Fandanie's envie and waiting for her confirmation on the address that I have on file
Well, I'm super frustrated with the whole mail thing. I mailed Fandanie's April EAU in mid April. Missing. I mailed a card to another person in England on a Thursday and it arrived the following Monday. I mailed Fandanie's replacement EAU last Wednesday at the same post office and where the heck is it? Maybe my mail's not going to her part of the country. I'll post photos of the original soon and am at a loss about this second one.
Woo hoo, scored big time today. Mail from my insurance company that should have been here 3 months ago (guess there's still hope for the envies to Fandanie) AND a fabulous NY Themed Envie from NYJunkie!!!! Very cool!

I don't blame you. Having worked at the post office, I suggest you go talk to your local postmaster. They are the managers of the store, and let him or her know what is happening.
Trina, your mail twilight zone is weird! I can't say that I have had a lot of weirdness in the mail department, but I did have one recently. I ordered a shirt from amazon and I guess it went thru regular mail to get here. However, I got a notice that it was delivered...but it wasn't. I contacted the company and they said something a long the lines that because of covid restrictions it was late and to give it 5 days to arrive? I don't understand how covid could show a thang delivered when its not? Either its delivered or not...right? Anyway, it arrived the next day. Weird.
Also, my new 2 year old A/c unit broke down the other day. We got it fixed under warranty. The problem? It was too hot outside for our A/C! Gah! The repair person said that normally a/c's are not placed in direct sunlight...but guess what? Ours is! ... so today I gotta head to the hardware store to see about making a shade of some sort or buying an umbrella for my a/c unit.

Oh, Mel, so sorry to hear about the A/C unit. Weird about the sunlight. On some houses, the units are on the roof (talk about direct sunlight). The one here is under a shade tree but I've had more problems that I'd like to count. I think that if the hardware store doesn't sell an A/C awning, you should design them and start a business! I do have an A/C cap that flips up when the unit is running and stays put when it's not (helps keep the leaves out of the unit).
This mail thing is beginning to get to me. I mailed the first one to Fandanie from my location back in mid April. I mailed the replacement just last Wednesday from the magic USPS. I even joked with the fellow that since the item I had mailed the previous Thursday took less than a week to get to UK, this one should arrive in MD by the end of the day. "Good luck," he said.
What???? A/Cs shouldn't be installed where there is sunlight???? That's where it is the most hot. My A/C is a wall unit on the west side of the building where it receives the hottest and longest sun. It works fine. Of course, I am not living in a really hot climate.
OK.....here's the envie I sent TrinaLD since she received it. I am not sure why the front isn't horizontal but I don't have time to fool around with changes.

Finally received the March and April postcards.
Both are very clever and really very well done. I love them both.
They are propped up in my studio right now !!! Giving me joy and inspiration.
I really enjoy this swap the best of all. Everyone is so creative and eager to share their art with the group.
Thanks to our hostess… with the mostess
And a special thank you to all of you with whom I’ve exchanged postcards and envies.
Mel, that's crazy about the AC unit! I was going to say the same thing about units installed on the roof, especially in Arizona where it gets hotter than where you live. I never understood that.
Never thought about the A/C's on the roof! LOL! Yeah, so weird, but the guy pulled out the faulty one and showed me the difference between the new one and the old one. (I forgot to mention it was the capacitor that was messed up.) Kind of a weird coincidence...but a couple of friends of mine in Florida had the same problem. Maybe they don't make this part like they used to? Before my new A/C, the old one lasted me about 10-12 years without any problems. (and it was already old before I moved here!) It did near the end have the same issue. Oh well...it was still under warranty. We also bought our A/C and umbrella! LOL! (We like to spoil our appliances!!) LOL!
