    Yes, my Dragons have Names....

I draw a lot of ATCs with animals. Most are real and quite a few are similar. So I tend to give each animal card a name. Much nicer than "Dragon #1...."

    Presenting...Prentis, Sid, Beaux, and Yolanda.
    . . . .
Sid is Pigma micron on Legion Stonehenge KRAFT. Everybody else is alcohol marker on Yupo.

    EDIT:
Oh. My. Goodness. I did not give credit to the inspiration for the dragons. (Though credit IS on the back of each card)

I bought a book, Drawing Dragons, by Sandra Staples. My dragons are somewhat simplified versions of hers, with different heads (I draw a classic giraffe-head dragon most of the time)

Beaux is the most blatant copy of the dragon on page 61. Yolanda is adapted from the title page.

In other ATC circles I see a lot of "copies" that fail to give credit where credit is due. And now I've done it. Bad LuAnnP.
But I fixed it. Good LuAnnP.

Love those close-up dragon heads, dithespy!

And I think naming your dragons is a wonderful idea, LuAnn.
Somehow it helps give them personality! They are great!

Did anybody but me notice that piggles' dragon is featured on the home page?

I think I'm ready to get off the lurkers couch and commit to this swap. I don't have my cards ready yet, but I feel highly motivated, so they will be happening.
