This is cool AngelJoy! I would go blind and cross-eyed doing that, not necessarily in that order!

I just take it one step at a time and am sometimes surprised how it comes out!

I researched Canadian wildlife and found that Puffins live in Canada. I didn't see puffins while in Canada, but I did see them in Scotland. Because I think that they are so darned cute, I started off my athon cards with three puffins. Puffins are found from the Maine-New Brunswick border to southeastern Labrador.

I LOVE PUFFINS! They have a permanent place on my cards and themes colleting list
When we visited the maritimes (Canadian East) I desperately wanted to go on a puffin-viewing expedition, but it just didn't work with our timetable or budget on that trip. Seeing puffins is still on my bucket list.
Gorgeous work, Jo!

Here are my first four cards, three of Canadian wildlife and one of a fashionable lady from the turn of the century (previous century, not this one).
I probably won’t be making very many more cards this ATART, we’re quite busy this “Long Weekend in May” - that’s what we call the Victoria Day weekend

piggles, these are all great. The fashionable lady is quite a departure from your work I have seen, nice job

Thank you jezebelle. Every now and then I’m in the mood for the control and precision of a pencil drawing. I actually did two of the fashionable ladies but I screwed up the eyes on the second one to the point I could t fix them, and she just looked demented

What I did most of the day YESTERDAY.....
I am taking a break from the great studio relocation. The other problem with the basement: concrete floor. Not good on old backs. I really appreciate getting my studio back when September rolls around!
So I've been having fun with a little gadget I had for years and years. It was the prize in a box of cereal, some time in the 1970s. It's a two-part stencil. You trace the top squiggles, then flip it over and trace the bottom squiggles. Voila! You get a little picture!
I'm rather pleased with the bifold design of this ATC. On one side, I traced the stencil, on the other side, I made a little framed picture and drew a little image of my Pigma Micron pen (to balance the design.) It only takes about fifteen minutes to make this little card, but it celebrates a fun little toy from the old days and reminds me of a fun conversation that the group on Facebook was having yesterday. I can make more of these if anyone is interested. I will probably write a blog post about this later, if anyone wants to see a better image or learn more about it!
I'll add the link later.

LuAnn, I just put a long comment on your gallery post. I had these little stencils too and LOVED them. You’re making me wish I’d kept them. How did you manage to keep them for this long?

I've always kept any small "gadgets" that could entertain a child for a minute or more! I taught preschool for ten years, then Sunday school until my first grandchild was born. So anything that could fit in a purse and entertain a child got saved.
I used to have a cardboard circular one that was even cooler. I could see the creation of one of these as a fascinating project for older kids.

That squiggle thing is so unique.
I worked on some cat card today. I really hate to withdraw from a swap. It makes me feel like a loser or a quitter. So I worked on the Felis cats cards

And I also made some continuous random round robin sets for Continuous Random Round Robins - 13

This is three starter sets. Not sure who I am sending them to yet.
