Jenga Block People – Due July 21

~ Jenga Block People Swap ~

For this swap, we will create whimsical characters from altered Jenga (game) blocks (or same-sized wooden blocks: approximately 3 inches tall, 1 inch wide, 1.5 cm deep), using any media that you choose.

Here is an example I created; Edward Scissorhands inspired:



Swap Details:

☆ Altered wooden blocks: Jenga game or same-sized (see dimensions above). You can add to the block (top, bottom, or both), but it needs to have the Jenga-sized dimensions as a starter. They do not need to be name brand. If you do not have blocks, I will send some to you, just pm me!

☆ Try to cut a small portion from one end and reattach (small eye hook) to give the illusion of a head & neck. If you do not have the ability to cut the block, just let me know and I will gladly send blank pieces that you may decorate and then connect. This is not mandatory, but fun to do!

☆Add extra dangles to give appearance of arms and legs.

☆This is open media. You may draw, paint, collage, add embellishments, whatever you like!

☆ Attach a way for them to hang. Example, use an eye hook with ribbon or string through it.

☆The front side must be fully decorated. The back and sides can be simply painted or covered in decorative paper.

☆Include your username either on the block or to a tag.


Mailing:
• Send art that you are proud of.

• Wrap each piece individually and place in a secured bubble envelope, or box with bubble wrap. If possible, I will reuse the same mailing material.

• Include a LARGE return address label (clearly written / typed).

• Postage: Include the same amount of postage in US dollars for your returns. For US participants, this may be $5 (or more) depending on package size. Players (both US and International) may also send postage payment to my PayPal account (send private message for info). If there are issues with postage, don't worry! Just send me a private message and I will help cover the cost.

• Write your username and swap name to the outside of the package.

• Send a private message for my mailing address.

If you need to withdraw, just communicate. Players who disappear will receive neutral iTrader. ALSO, work must arrive on time, on or before July 21, 2022.

Extra postage or hostess gift is appreciated but not required.
