I got a sheet of the Global stamps yesterday. Saved a whole dollar ;-)
Looking forward to Friday. Found the crayons, need a security envelope. One will probably arrive this week.

Saved my junk mail from today (kept forgetting). I don't think I'll have fabric, but I think I have everything else.

I am loving the count down. I have red security envelope paper because Target Mastercard sends me mail. I also saved some junk mail words etc. I need to locate my crayons, I mean like kids crayons. I have some craftry artsy crayons on my card, and easy to find. I want an excuse to use my kids crayons.

I got a RAK from DOnnacr from the last one. stamped coffee sayings. I just had to withdraw from the coffee tea with a treat swap. I could not get the treats to come together, bummer.

Headed off to Tucson for my monthly blood test and a Cat scan, today.

Thanks for the invite but I’ll have to be on the sidelines this time cheering everyone on. I have a busy weekend and week coming up. Good luck to all the players!

My bank graciously sent me my security envelope today. Ready to go!

Question: What kind of glue/adhesive do you use most?

    StitchinWitch-
I am always asking everyone this same question.
    I mostly use Elmer’s Glue-All.
I have, in fact, spent the whole day using it on a complete fail of a project that I just this minute gave up on. Sigh. Not the glue’s fault.
That said, I do not love this glue. At all. I have tried so many other glues over the years tho, and I didn’t like any of them any better. (excepting glues for specific materials/purposes: E6000, GS Hypo Cement, 2 part Epoxy, wood glue)
To improve the performance and looks, I roll everything with an old rolling pin. If I had a brayer, I would use that instead.
    What do you use?

I use Yes! Paste. It comes in a jar, has the consistency of soft butter and I use a palette knife to spread it. A little goes a long way. It's slow drying, so I have plenty of time to move things if I put something in the wrong place or decide I need to put something under a layer I already set down. Yet it's very strong once it's dried. And it dries completely clear. Because I spread it with a palette knife, it can get messy, but it's completely water-soluble, so clean up (as well as touch ups) is EASY. (Another super cool thing about it: if it starts to dry out a little in the jar, you can add a drop or two of water in and close the lid and it will reconstitute!)

My other go to adhesive is a tape runner, but those I mostly use just for adding the ATC information to the back of my cards. I run out of those so much faster than the Yes! Paste and it can be expensive buying the refills for them. My jar of Yes! Paste lasts me a LONG time!

Thanks for the invite Sniisk, I can't participate as I am away with my husband who is seeing specialists etc, at that time. We finally get to see someone after his fall in January when his health started to decline.

I like tape runners. I am finding they don't keep things glued on say after a time of a year. I have tried Scrapbook.coms tape runners they seem better than the duck or adtech tape runners. I have also noticed that when I watch tutorials on youtube, that the creators have some really nice liquid glue.

I bought many many rolls of double sided sticky tape from Scrapbook.com. It is so time consuming to cut and lay it down and peel off the back. I dont use it as much. I have toooooo many bins of various glues, I need to use up stuff before I buy more.

When I add quotes I use some liquid white clue, Craft glue, and I store it upside down so the glue will come out.

I bought some Yes! Paste. I might still have it too. I can not remember why it was not the glue for me. I might pull tht out of my 3 glue bins and see what I remember about it.
