Hi Jezebelle, my husband will drop your skellie in the mail today. I tried something new with it. At least something new to my atcs, I stacked several layers of the diecut skellie to give a little dimension.

I've made it! Yay! At least for a little bit. I ,too , have only had about 3 hours sleep and crafting to do. So I'll try to get my phone to behave and upload stuff.

I'm back, I have to scan my cards and see if I get my internet to work good enough to upload. I used some glossy accents to glue down some sand and have stickles on another card so they are drying right now.

i am sorry LuAnnP I did not take a photo or scan and it was mailed this morning. I may play with more. My muse is all over the place. This morning I started with some orange ink and ended up doing a vintage lady with a quote. And recycled a note card with a scale type design as backgrounds for three ocean cards. going to scan them soon.

ATC title: "I THOUGHT This was Going to be Easy...."

Famous last words. I bought a darling SVG from FireflyDigitalCo to use on my Cricut. The DESIGN is great... but not for ATCs!

Furthermore....it's not at all suitable for transferring onto cotton watercolor paper. (Transfer tape REALLY sticks to cotton watercolor paper!)

But as a learning experience: um.... I learned a lot. It's a fun card to add to my collection of Cards-which-didn't-come-out-as-expected...

The flaws don't really show up when you take a photo and reduce the resolution enough to meet ATCsFA standards. But...

The skeleton was supposed to have two nostrils. One came out. When I tried to detach the other, I gouged both the vinyl AND the paper beneath it....
The skeleton was supposed to have a cuter pose.... but when I tried to use transfer paper it was a total nightmare. My first attempt has funny damage streaks (I don't know how to describe them) all over the lovely Legion Stonehenge Black watercolor paper....
The skeleton was supposed to have cute little toes and fingers but I just used a white gel pen to draw them in after MANY futile attempts.
There's also a place on the pelvis where the part that was supposed to get removed is halfway behind the "hole" and I dare not try to get it out....

Finally: the experience was just too funny not to share!

SIDENOTE #2 to jezebel, who wrote “But LuAnn, I am ready to get my Halloween on as well. Maybe someone will offer a Halloween prompt…". As much as I LOVE the prompts, it was the mention of my favorite Halloween motif that got me out of my recliner and over to the art table. LET's GO!
