I have some backgrounds ready and some things cut out and should have some cards shortly.
I've had this project of cleaning up the "studio" area - which is also the catch all for my Etsy shop. I have it partway done, so it's controlled chaos at the moment. That is also on my agenda today.
Part of that is going through old saved collage images and recycling... I may find something fun.

My first cards. Nothing to do with anything. I'm just going through my little boxes and using what I find.

My first cards ... background is bleached stamped script from LONG ago, found when sorting the art stash. Images are from 1907 postcards.

So you used bleach on a stamp? What a cool idea. I’ve bleach “printed” fabric (with a cut potato stamp), but paper never occurred to me. What type of paper did you use?

jez, this was from a long ago play session with a group of artists and I can't recall if we used a specific type of paper. I don't really think so. Edited to add - this was likely on construction type paper. It is a heavier weight and has tooth.
Of course, you rinse the stamp immediately. The lady who showed us this used to own a craft store, started with just stamps and paper and went from there. She used to stamp and draw with bleach on t-shirts also, made some pretty cool things. I have only used bleach like this in that play session. lol

I'm recovering from this virus and also hoping to go out of town Monday, but I also hope to play a little. And I cleared out my PM box.

Thanks for the info, HHC.
Tshirts are fun and easy. I’ve also used bleach in a spray bottle with home made stencils. And I tie dyed with bleach back in high school.
I’ll have to try this on paper when I have time for a new project. I’m beginning to wish I had more/better stamps.

Jo, your turkey's are fabulous.
Here's a couple more from me. Background paper was made using leaves as the "stamp" and inks, and then I photo copied to get more life from them.

Great, Cynthia!
So I'm a bit grumpy. My laptop was being glitchy, but still working, so I took it to the tech folks at the local Office Max to be serviced. It's been there since Monday at noon. Really long sad story involving inept in-store tech... and after he and "online" techs worked on it all week, they finally decided it has a bad hard drive. And now it's not working at all. Someone who knew what they were doing would have figured it out a bit faster, I'm thinking. Anyway, I went to the store and picked up my computer and am looking for a local person who can do computer things to "fix" it. The local guy I used in the past retired. And I'm extremely grateful that my son is letting me use his laptop in the meantime.
Onward and upward.

And on a happier note, I came across my twinkling H20's rearranging a drawer, and decided it would be fun playing with them. Who knows what will come of that. lol!
