    Exclamation Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas 4 x 4 Chunky Page Swap/Chunky Pages/Open/Due: Jan 31, 2023

    Due: January 31, 2023
    Medium: Open
Number of pages: 3 or 6
    Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas 4 x 4 Chunky Page Swap/Chunky Pages/Open

It is time for my annual Christmas Chunky Page swap. This is a Christmas related swap; anything that has to do with Christmas.

Chunkies should be 4 x 4 in size; securely made & sturdy. EMBELLISHMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED & THIS YEAR i NEED TO ADD THAT THERE MUST BE SOME KIND OF CHUNKY ON YOUR PAGE OR AT LEAST ADD SOME FIBERS/YARN/RIBBON & they must be securely fastened & able to go through a mail machine with no problems. NO FLAT CHUNKY PAGES THIS YEAR. If you do add a lot of raised embellies or lots of fibers please remember to send a bit of extra postage to cover them going to a different artist. Please leave a half inch clear on the left side for binding purposes. Encase your chunky pages in protective plastic. Please use stickers minimally & especially not as the focal point. Please decorate the back side as well (can be more simple) & put your info on the back (Real name/A4A name/the swap name/chunky title/where you are from/date).

Beings that this is an open medium swap, it must be noted that all artists will be mailed what comes in regardless of what medium they use. A HD/HP artist may end up getting a collage chunky page & vice versa. A collage artist may end up getting a HD/HP Chunky Page. If this issue is a big problem for you then you can private message me & I'll see what I can do but honestly, this swap was a blast the last few years & artists were happy with the returns they got regardless of what the medium was. This should be fun not gloom & doom....

As far as envelopes are concerned; if you want me to re-use the envelope that you sent your swaps in I can do that or you can send a new envelope in with your swaps. Please make sure to send a LARGE ADDRESS LABEL so that your returns get back to you right away. Both US and international artists must pay for their own return postage; either well concealed cash (the amount that it took to mail your chunky pages to me)/US stamps/or you can private message me for my Pay Pal addy info. ESTIMATED postage costs:

US $5.75-$6.75 for three pages. More if you send six.
Not sure what international rates would be. You would need to check with your local post office to find that information out.

Please mail chunky pages a week & half or two weeks before due date (even earlier due to heavy mail loads this time of year). I WILL BE SWAPPING OUT ON TIME. Host chunky pages are not mandatory but I would be tickled pink (or even red in this case) if I received one. Late chunky pages will be returned unswapped. No communication and no pages will result in Neutral ITrader. When you are ready to send please private message me for my addy info.

If you have any questions, whatsoever, please feel free to ask. It is a good idea to go over the rules a couple of times so that you become comfortable in getting your swaps out appropriately. So let's make some fun!!

I’m doing pretty well! I no longer live in a desert, so someday I may look into a screen name change…LOL! I am just getting back into art (less than two months?). I have a few supplies. I don’t have the 4-inch chipboards anymore, but that’s okay. I’m trying to figure out if I can make the deadline. Creative process is definitely slow. I know the art here is going to be awesome!!

Well, I think I am going to cancel this swap. There doesn't seem to be much interest this year. I sent out a few invites but no bites. I'll give it another couple more days & then let you guys know what I decide.

Thanks for checking the swap out, JavaZarf... Sometimes I use just regular old Christmas cards that I like the fronts on. They make for great images....
