My cards are done.

I just have to share my excitement -- I finally saw an actual cardinal! I was watching a bird feeder livestream camera from North Carolina (looks like it's pouring rain there) and a male and female cardinal were hopping around in the tray feeder. What a beautiful bird!

Martha, those are awesome. And that sounds like a cool old book.

Ancient Planter, very cool! I have not seen a cardinal in person, just photos.

I hope to actually see a cardinal, too, in real life, not a photo or on a livestream. I need it for my life list! Have you seen “The Big Year”? I love that movie, and enjoyed the book even more. It’s what got me started birding.

I haven't see that movie, but will check it out. My mom was a birder, so I come by it naturally.

My birds flew to the post office this morning. Possibly air mail?
