Recycled!:Bookmarks Due Date: March 3
Due Friday March 3rd
Number of items-4 for 4
Size-2 inches by 6 inches
Number of players-unlimited
Media-open but flat
From late October through June, the Pacific Northwest has mostly grey, dark, cold weather. Mostly rain but sometimes snow. And once in a lot of whiles, there will be a sunny cold day. So one of the perfect activities is reading books. But most of us cannot read all day so having some book marks to mark your place is a great idea.
These book marks will be cut from some box such as tissue, cereal, dog treats, tea etc. So the cardboard is being recycled--it will go from being part of a box to being a book mark created by you!
Don't cover up the kind of cardboard you used. That is one side and put your art on the other side. Free choice where you want to put your artist info.
The least of which should be your user name, location and date. If you choose to punch a hole at the top to place a ribbon, you may. Not required.
Mailing info...
EVERONE send a label or piece of paper with your mailing address.
US players...send one or 2 forever stamps
International players.... I will provide postage.
I will provide envelopes for EVERYONE.
Who is ready to change used cardboard to book marks?

I have chosen my boxes to recycle and I’ve cut them out. They are all really pretty and brightly colored. And I think I’ve covered the four major food groups. Candy, cake, cookies, and ice cream! And one of them actually says on the box “please recycle this carton.” I know it’s not mandatory but I’m hoping that I can coordinate the colors on the box with my artwork that I put on the other side.
Edited to correct typos.

I don't have boxes that are sturdier enough to be book mark backs. So I used part of the front of a yupo pad. And I got a set of washi tape today that came with a lovely carboard sleeve.

Nancy are you familiar with Oak Knoll winery? I try and stop there once or twice a year for a couple of bottles.
It's another beautiful day!
