Such lovely art! Jo, I love how you've drawn plants with heart-shaped leaves or flowers. We had bleeding heart in our yard in Sequim, and my aunt told me they'd always called that something like Ladies in a Bathtub.
I hope to join in this weekend on making a few things.
What FUN!!!!
I have not heard that name for years and years.
My maternal grandmother always called these flowers "The Lady in the Bath" flower, (very close to what your Aunt called them.)
Granna was very proper, and from the Victorian Era, which is where "The Lady in the Bath" flower name was used exclusively.
Fond, happy, memories. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane, AP!!!!!
The first time I have tried a "real" tangle, using patterns I found on timefortangling.blogspot.com/2018/11/
It is also the first time I have tried to shade a "tangle." WG.5 was too light, WG1 was a little dark. Oh well. I know you are supposed to use pencil but I don't keep fixative on hand so I avoid pencil.
It is really hard to see, but the inner heart is shaded with light pink and the outside of the heart is shaded with gray. If you are on Instagram you can see it better here:
I haven't tried fiction podcasts, but I do listen to audio books. Currently listening to Cherringham - a Cosy Crime series by Matthew Costello and Neil Richards, narrated by Neil Dudgeon (of Midsomer Murders). Not free though, sadly, but not expensive.
Having said that, since I have an account with i Heart Radio, I'll have to see what fiction podcasts they have.

My first few cards for the art-a-thon. May not get any done today - I have a PT session and then some errands to run. Plan to so some more over the weekend.
Love the Valentine you just posted!!!!
Unfortunately it appears that you tried to post 4 cards, and only one ATC showed up, and I see 4 Valentines in your gallery.
Maybe try to post here again?

One of the things I really like about the fiction podcasts is the episodic nature of the storytelling.
But audio books are wonderful. And I do enjoy mystery/crime books and television. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll see if it can be had from the library.
Happy Valentine's! I'm enjoying all the art. I have some backgrounds ready and some bits and pieces also so today I'll be working on chunkies. Hopefully I'll have something to post later today or tomorrow.
This year our tree turned into a Valentine's Tree. I have done this once or twice before so I already had a few hearts that I had made along with some vintage Valentine cards and small glass balls. I have filled in with ATCs and chunkies on the bottom branches. The cards are only being held in place by the branches but so far it seems to be working. Pink in the predominant color with some shades of red, rose red etc. I'm still adding to it . . .

Thanks - not sure what happened there. Now there's an attached thumbnail, in addition to the four. Oh well, lol

Hi! I actually got something done. Was looking for something else and came across some old spray ink backgrounds. And these butterflies. And the heart background is decorative paper with slight embellishment. They are simple but I like them.
