I wanted to share this photo of a budding new artist in the family. This is my 15 month old great grandson Lucius coloring on a box of art supplies…my round robin box. AND! I have a new one born on 2-12-23. His name is Auden and he’s a little bitty thing.

Things have been really tough here and I could really do with some cheering up.

I think I’ve made an error with the postage on an envelope I’ve mailed out to you Allegrae ��. Not sure what happens in the US - over here we get a card through saying there wasn’t enough postage in an item and we have to pay to receive the item. If that’s the case, let me know and I’ll refund you. I’m really hoping it doesn’t get thrown as there was a Homer and a good set in there!

Just checking in. Been a busy and dramatic month so far in my home, along with working on a drawing course, we had a death in the extended family and a cancer diagnosis in the closer family,---but I hope to open up my atc box this weekend.
Asher-an envelope I sent to you was returned so it's going back out this weekend.
Suzi-an envelope for you has been sitting around for a few weeks and it's finally going out this weekend.
Anyone heard from CQ lately?

Sounds like it has been a lot. Sorry to hear about your loss, it is always tough.

I had sent a message to CQ a week or 2 ago but no response. Hope she is okay.

This is information I received from Heather’s daughter Bethany.
Heather (CastleQueen5) is not doing well. Her cancer treatment is not going well.
They moved her to hospice care last week and have stopped all chemo treatments.
She hasn't been feeling well enough to get online and update you all.
She's always been an optimist and a fighter that's for sure.
It seems that all the treatments she's gotten in the last 2 years have held the cancer back but never completely removed it.
She found out in Jan that it spread to her colon and found out in late Feb that it had spread to her brain as well.
Now they think it might be in her bones as well but they're not doing anymore treatments so they haven't confirmed that.
Please pray for her. Pray she finds peace (you can pray for a miracle but I'm not sure how much that'll help at this point.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about CQ5. She's been fighting so hard for so long.

Geez, that is so sad about Heather. You just never really know what life is going to throw at you. I hope she can at least find some comfort & peace. She had so much to deal with during her husband's death & then moving at almost the same time. That would be very draining on top of trying to fight cancer herself.

the news about Heather makes me incredibly sad, especially after hearing relatively good news about my sister-in-laws colon cancer. She's a strong, loving person it's so sad that she's losing this battle now.

I so sorry to hear about CastleQueen. I feel like I've really gotten to know her making art together. I hope she she is a peace spending time with her friends and family
