Those are really cool Somnia. Are the Alice in the chair stamp images? I have a rubber stamp with that image, but your's look a lot better than the ones I color.

I don't have any Alice stamps. I 've never even seen any! I have an odds and ends selecton of Alice ephemera. A lot of it is based on the old book illustrations. I picked up a falling apart copy of Through the Looking Glass at a library remainder sale but I can't bring myself to rip it up.

Oh gosh, fun idea for a chat thread, KESeagers! I love seeing all this art!

I have some stamps including the one of Alice in the chair, but haven't done anything recently. I'm getting inspired to do something with them.

somnia, I know what you mean about using the old book pages. Can you make copies?

Somnia - they layers and interesting images in your collages are like a Wonderland treasure hunt - fantastic! I keep looking for all the Wonderland items.

Linda - your Julie Nutting dolls are creative the perfect adaptation for Wonderland. I like you you changed their outfits and incorporated them into a collage. So great!

Welcome HHC! Can't wait to see your art.

I purchased a discounted Wonderland book at Barnes and Noble - nothing special about it it was just on sale, mass produced and super cheap. I've already started pulling pages and using it but I have a running conversation in my head that goes something like this: "You bought this for art. You have another Wonderland book that is for reading and saving. This one is for art. Again this one is for art. It's OK to take pages from it because you are giving them new life." Sounds corny but I can't tear into a book any other way. It's a BIG deal because I love books.

Making copies is a great idea though - thanks for suggesting it HHC! Especially since some publications are unique or out of print. Good idea for preserving illustrations that can be used over and over again.

Deep Red Rubber Stamps has a lot of Alice stamps from book images. I have something like 6 of them.

Hi HHC, hope you do make some Alice art.

When I was in my junk journal craze I found some children's books in a thrift shop some pages may have been torn or scribbled on but I use those in my art. I wish I was better with computers so I could scale scanned images to the size I want. Mostly I just use the 6 or PHOTO templates of full page, 5x7, wallet etc.

@Linda4ATC - thank you for the invite, I absolutely do love Alice in Wonderland themed art. I have an album that combines Alice themed in the beginning with garden-themed afterward and I love that album of art because I feel it fits so well.

@Somnia - wow, your Alice atcs are gorgeous!
