My personal favourite subject to draw is whimsical girls. I would love to trade some girls with you. I just love girl art!

Either-
-Give your girls their own style and personality, make your own characters.
-OR you can do your OWN VERSIONS of well known girl characters- Wednesday Addams, Princess Leia, Alice in Wonderland etc
-OR famous people- Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Frida Kahlo etc in your own whimsical style.

So lots of options just remember to make the girls/women whimsical and in YOUR OWN STYLE, so no copying Disney/ Tim Burton versions.

If you need further clarification on what makes a 'whimsical girl' I have now added definitions in post #4 and some examples in post #5.

This is a hand drawn hand painted swap. Please submit your own original art.

If there is enough interest we will follow on with a whimsical boys swap.


Card Rules- IMPORTANT PLEASE READ.
1. All cards must be entirely hand drawn or hand painted. No embellishments/collage.
2. Cards must be correctly sized with straight edges 2.5 x 3.5 inches, (rounded corners however are ok, I use a die to cut my cards and they all have rounded corners), make sure that they are neither flimsy, or extra thick. Please check and measure your cards before sending, (it is harder to rectify these problems after I have received your cards).
3. Cards must be fully coloured (no white backgrounds)
4. Please include your username, real name and the swap name on the back of your cards along with any other info you wish to add.
5. Host cards will be treasured should you wish to include one, but are not a requirement to take part.
6. Where possible I will exchange effort for effort and like for like cards to the best of my ability and dependant on cards received. Do your best work.

Postage info
1. The due date is 21st April. Please be mindful that I am in the UK so allow plenty of time for sending to me. Ideally try and get these made and sent off asap if you are not in the UK.
2. Please pm me when you are ready for my address to send your cards.
3. Please package your cards carefully to ensure they reach me undamaged, and send in individual plastic ATC sleeves. I will need a large return address label or piece of paper with your address on it, I will supply my own envelopes.
4. UK players please send either a first or second class stamp for return postage.
International players please send either $2 USA, a USA global forever stamp or contact me to pay via paypal. I cannot use stamps from any other countries. If you have any problems with providing postage send me a DM.

Hi Stacy,
You could definitely make your girls in that style, I suggest maybe adding little arms and legs though so they are no longer perceived as dolls. Or do portraits.

The following definitions may help players when deciding on what to draw-
The definition of whimsical is 'playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way' so really that is up to the interpretation of the artist how they choose to portray those qualities.

The definition of a girl is 'a female child or relatively young woman'

Here's my girls so far. Do you ever draw something and think hey that's cute but when you start inking or coloring it turns into eww what happened?

Love how they are shaping up stacy.
I usually find adding the colour brings mine to life, they can be ugly looking beforehand so weirdly it mostly works the opposite way for me!
