Butterfly, Butterfly../ATCs/Open Media/Due Date: May 6th

So, here it is March already & it is snowing like crazy out. Just can't figure Mother Nature out:unsure: Besides flowers, what reminds you of spring? Why butterflies, of course! You can use any medium you like except for digital/photography. No plain white back grounds, no sticker slapping unless it is minimal on the ATC & not the main feature. I will try to swap effort for effort but sometimes it just doesn't happen because not enough swappers sign up in that particular medium. Each ATC MUST be different. You can add lots of layers & elements if you'd like but be sure to send an extra postage for each ATC that you send in for the swap to cover for your ATCs going to the other artists..

Late cards will be returned to the artist and neutral I-Trader given. Lack of communication and lack of ATCs will result in Neutral I-Trader given. Please, please communicate. US SWAPPERS, please send a SASE. Postage will be whatever it cost you to send it to me. I do not supply envelopes for swappers; it is your responsibility to send a SASE envelope to get your returns in. INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS, All other international participants will need to send either US $2 or I have set up a Pay Pal account also. ALL INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS NEED TO SEND A SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE OR LABEL TO GET THEIR RETURNS IN. Please label all your envelopes with your user name & swap name. Place each ATC in a plastic sleeve. An extra ATC on the subject would be greatly appreciated but is not mandatory. Please feel free to post your ATCs to the thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in the thread. Please PM when you are ready for my address. Mail is running so slow these days & I honestly don't expect anything different now. Most international mail will take anywhere from one to three weeks to arrive in WA. Please plan accordingly. On that same note; most mail here in the US can take anywhere from two days up to 15 days so please don't wait until the last minute to send your ATCS.

Players, when you have received your return ATCs for the swap; please remember to leave I-Trader for the host (me, ferretgirl) & You Rock points for your fellow artists that you received cards from. I will leave I-Trader points for you as soon as I receive (on time) your swaps. Once again, please PM me with any questions you may have.

Please remember: Each ATC must be different. No sending three of the same thing. Put your thinking caps on for this one.

Big welcome to: leydab, AuntieDeb, RaineyDay, CynthiaSillitoe, & Joamosatcharterdotnet!! NancyL, thanks for checking the swap out...

Speaking of snow, we got over four inches last night & our great big willow tree cracked right in half. A huge branch on our side (luckily it didn't hit the house) & a medium size branch on the neighbor's side of the fence (luckily it didn't hit his house). The snow was very wet & heavy & it rained most of the day yesterday. We figure the tree was water-logged. It is funny because I was just thinking, the last few months have been so nuts & crazy, thank goodness nothing else has happened recently!! Then this happened. I just know I jinxed myself....

sign me up, please.
well here in Georgia, 20-some miles north of Atlanta, we have yellow pollen all over EVERYTHING!!! yuck! but it does mean Spring has Sprung! of course that doesn't mean we can't get a freeze or snow.
little violets are up, daffodils blooming for more than a week, the tulip trees are blooming...Lovely, except the pollen. Until I moved to GA I did not believe you could see pollen. You CAN!!! with a Vengeance!!!

Oh, yes, we have pollen like that in the spring & you are right; it covers absolutely everything!! Even our poor cats!! Of course, the ones that weren't sneezing their heads off were having great fun playing & rolling around in it...

I found a stamp of butterfly wings when I was working on something completely different. This is an advantage of messiness. You can find surprises in many unexpected places.
